Please read my honest review, the other reviews are left by employees and family members. I wish i would have had a real review before I went there. I am a mid-thirties, educated, white male executive currently with my wife expecting our first child. I live in the Tujunga area and frequent restaurants often. I have NEVER written a poor review. This place deserves one. My wife is pregnant and craving tacos, so we looked up near by areas and found this place. We looked at THEIR WEBSITE to check out the prices. They seemed reasonable. $1.25 per taco, you choose any meat. When I got to the restaurant I ordered 10 tacos. she gave me a total of 17.50. I asked how can that be. She explained that the tacos are $1.75. I thought no big deal, I'd buy them any because my wife really wanted tacos. Well I reached in my pocket and realized I left my wallet on the counter. I had $15 in cash on me. I never carry very much cash. This amount would have been fine if the prices of the tacos were priced the same as the website. I kindly showed her the website prices. She said she could not price match. But these were their prices they had listed! She rudely refused, as if I was trying to swindle her. I wasn't. I was prepared to pay the price they advertised. I didn't want to inconvenience them but I asked to give her $15 in exchange for the 10 tacos. This was only $2.50 off due to their pricing error. I am not a bad customer, but I feel they looked at me and figured I should have the money so they could make up whatever price they like. Even though I do well for myself, I don't like being taken advantage of. Instead of ordering there, I went down the street to El Pollo Loco. I told them what happened and they offered me $5 off their $20 meal. That's customer service. I left them a great review. I didn't want to go to chain restaurant, I wanted to support a small business. But hey, there are plenty of great Mexican food spots in the area. DO NOT go...
Read moreNotice that all the negative reviews are written by people who are clearly overly entitled, going as far as listing their own "achievements" as validation for their entitlement. Food is food. Good food is good. This place has great food, good service, they serve in a timely manner, food tastes fresh 100% of the time and is reasonably priced. I've never once found a hair in my food (the cook is male) and I doubt the people who claim they did were being anywhere near honest as I've been here multiple times and I've brought friends and family in countless times without a single problem. Those complaining about $2 should be ashamed to call themselves "professionals". Highly recommend this place. Very authentic. Very well-priced. Can't say enough good things about them. I'm a regular (not a family member or employee like the salty people here who can't hardboil eggs and get upset when someone else won't change a menu just for them) and I'll be going in again very soon for my usual. God bless this...

This is a little restaurant. I tried the #21 - 3 chicken (my choice of meat) flautas, rice, beans, came with a small salad topped with guacamole and sour cream. I bought it because the picture on the menu board showed 3 flautas covered with lots of guacamole and small salad on the side for $11. The menu board picture and my serving didn't look the same with lots less guacamole than I expected based on the picture. Really disappointed at the mismatch since I was looking forward to lots of guacamole. The green salsa was pretty spicy, not sure I'd want chili verde that spicy and I love chili verde!
I might go back. They are inexpensive. They serve seafood and chili verde that I can eat on my restricted diet. My diet means that I can't try all their best possible dishes.
Be warned: Bring cash - $1 charge for...
