Yesterday I was famished and headed to a vegan restaurant. While in the strip mall, I parked in front of Loiterra on Pico. I parked right in front of a video ad being displayed of the delicious Mexican food served at Loiterra. I went from wanting grains to wanting Mexican. I still wanted a vegetarian dish, so I inquired with Jim what he would suggest. He was a nice and polite gentleman, very knowledgeable about the food their. Jim is the owner. I ordered 2 enchiladas with beans and rice. He recommended the squash enchilada and a mushroom one. It sounded like it would be great and it was. Filled with sauces and cheese. I do eat cheese. It was fantastic! The presentation was great and it was absolutely delicious! By far the best tasting Mexican food I’ve ever had. Seriously 😋. I didn’t expect it to taste so good. It was like eating food from a 5 star Mexican restaurant, but located in an unassuming strip mall. Jim owns another Loiterra in LAX. It tasted better than I could imagine! It was everything I wanted and more and the food just melted in my mouth. Thank you Jim! I’ll be seeing...
Read moreWe had just arrived to LA and we were really looking forward to try out some good Mexican food. But thats faaaaaar from what we got. The tables were sticky when we sat down, drinks were nothing spesial. The wings were dry had no flavor and all the tacos that we had was terrible. The Worst food i have Tryed to eat. Reason why i said tryed is because we didnt Even finish the Tacos. The meat tastes nothing and old, like watery. Asked for the bill and payd 70 dollars for bad food «6 tacos, 1 portion of wings, 1 margarita and a corona.» $$$$
Dont eat here save your disepointment and money. This ruined our Mexican eksperianse in LA.
Told the waiter he let us pay and just told us that he was gonna tell the chefs

Read moreWe were looking for a place to eat near the walk of fame and we're starting to loose hope when we saw Loteria Grill in the distance.
Ambience: really relaxed with a huge piñata in the center. Real candles in each table and well dressed staff. Not overly fancy but not also that casual. Like the Business casual of restaurants.
Food: we were stoked about this food. We got a guacamole appetizer that was fantastic. The server recommended the grilled chicken bowl. It was one of the most well cooked chicken dishes I've ever eaten. My fiancé was very happy with his tacos as well. The rice was delicious as well. For dishes that could have been made simply there was a lot of layers to them.
Service: incredibly friendly and responsive to the needs of ours. The only complaint I have is they were a little slow to get our food and drinks out. They were very kind for the entire duration of our visit. If we were in the area we would...
