Food was spectacular. The environment in this restaurant is amazing it's so peaceful and Serene it reminded me of being at some Buddhist temple. As I began to sit down I understood reason why this is called the lotus flower because of all the wonderful service. Premier vegetarian food. The mill I ate was The salted pumpkin it was a little spicy but if you like a little spice in your life is most definitely a good good meal. I really can't wait to come back and eat that meal. I can't wait till try something else delicious on the. The service was great too as well the waiter was very respectful with me directly in the eye serve me my food and also asked if I needed anything else. Being the top Google reviewer I look at things like. The details matter when you when have restaurant. I hope all of the LA vegetarians and vegans come to this restaurant if you haven't been there already. Also try the duck vegetarian wings which were spectacular. They have the fried rice that was really red rice mixed with sauteed so delicious and yummy.

I got to Lotus 15 min before closing. I was able to do a take out order. I got the hot wings (10/10), Thai ice tea (perfect not too sweet) a sprite can (always same) and I ordered the kung-pao chicken. The food did not mention spice on the menu, but it was ridiculously hot. Too hot to eat it. I live in Lancaster, CA so making a trip down there to exchange is not possible. I called them the next day to just give them a heads up and they did offer to exchange the food. I ended up recooking the food the next day by adding some fresh pineapple, Soy sauce and added honey to make it less hot which helped, But it was still too hot for me. If you like spicy dishes you will love this dish. I will still try this place again. They have great food, but I’ve learned I need to ask for spice level even if it’s not mentioned. If you can’t find parking on the Main Street, there is a parking lot you can park at which I’ve included an image of. I’ve tried the curry it’s also very hot in spice and the spring rolls.

So far we are off to a great start. Small Vegan Asian Fusion restaurant. It's clearly a good choice that we picked this because almost every table was full even the outside tables. We ordered a few different dishes & are sitting back waiting there arrival. Chicken Wings, Panang Curry, & Basil Noodles. Yummmmm. So food arrived & since has been devoured. And DELISH!!!! The best Panang Curry I have ever had & it's full on Vegan. The shrimp we added was incredible. More incredible that it isn't really shrimp but the root of a plant that gives it the flavor. I can't begin to describe how outstanding this place is. I can't wait to revisit. The Basil Noodle dish was also phenomenal. Light, warm & spicy & perfect amount of flavor. Not too much sauce & not too little. & the chicken wings, were dusted with angelic flavor. Tristene, our server was fantastic! She was knowledgeable & recommended spectacular dishes to try. Thanks for the added bonus of your smile. It shows how much you care.

I used to regularly eat here and would bring people looking for something vegan or with food restrictions and turned a lot of people onto this place between 2011-2019. A lot. But after two consecutive foul orders, Im afraid that Im done with this place.

Most recently I ordered 3 dishes delivered for $70...but the pad see ew ordered gluten-free came stir-fried with plain rice noodles and vegetables in just oil and white vinegar. Absolutely disgusting. I don't understand what happened to this place or their ability to swap tamari/GF soy sauce out for standard when making the GF specification. I had done it for dozens of meals here, in fact, the GF friendly menu has been a major aspect of my patronage over the years.

I wanted it to work so I covered the sour-yet-flavorless dish in curry, which was great, but I am still, unfortunately, tasting those nasty vinegar noodles. The curry was fine, pineapple fried rice was fine, however, the soy chicken is now thin shavings rather than whole pieces. My second to last meal here (less than a week earlier) had satay that was inedible and an obviously, almost hunorously reduced portion. A massive recipe change from the quality expected pre-pandemic.

Unfortunately, these six disappointing dishes have totalled over $150 and it just isn't worth it, especially when you can still recall how good this place once was.

To make matters worse, the owner has reached out to me, requesting order specifics, promising a refund, (I did not ask for it) but after providing these details, has gone silent. Poor ownership, poor recipes and terrible experience as customer has ended my relationship with this place. A review of recent Yelp and Goole reviews shows that, sadly, my situation...
