Location is a ghost kitchen at the address.
Very high likeliness of cross contamination due to shared equipment among businesses.
Potential fire hazard risk due to close quarters 1 room style kitchen. (Site has no sprinklers), Close quarters ghost kitchens also wouldn't have the best ventilation (harboring germs), & freezers are in main hallway making potential incidences with food spoiling.
Employees don't wear gloves whenever handling the pizzas or hair nets indicating another red flag when they prepare the pizza. Nobody wants hair or skin cells eaten on their food.
Wait times can be various from a quick 5 minutes to a stressful several hours if the establishment is understaffed. Pizzas left directly on oven/stove.
Restrooms only exclusive to employees (used to be available to visiting delivery drivers or customers, I honestly don't get why the imposed restriction).
Parking can be mixed from fairly accessible to frequently unavailable spots as some of the staff themselves take parking (feeling the owners of the building lack necessary accomodativeness for all).
If ordering a pizza, it's unlikely that the establishment will check for personal requests/accommodations unless calling them directly.
Lastly I would've honestly preferred a food truck to being on the scene, the food would be immediately served upon acquisition, less likely risk of cross contamination among equipment/food items, some foodtrucks allow food to be eaten on site whereas ghost kitchens don't have a dine-in & mainly distance as food trucks can always be nearby whereas ghost kitchens being limited to 1 spot & exclusive franchises makes it very inconvenient for long distance takeout/delivery if food quality isn't directly eaten on site.
All being asked, may the establishment overcome these obstacles to adapt & own a official restaurant site that is more professional, safer, & of greater quality to the public. The pizza's good but not the factors that affect the...
Read moreOur foray into trying Lucky's Pizza started quite modernly – through a slew of Instagram stories plus the fact I'm always on the hunt for a good NY-style slice of heaven. With so many people raving about it, we couldn't resist the urge to join the club. Tucked away in what appears to be a ghost kitchen, Lucky's Pizza isn't your conventional pizza joint. There's no place to sit down and enjoy your meal, but what they might lack in physical ambiance, they more than make up for in taste and quality. We went with two pies, a classic plain pizza and a zestier one topped with calamata olives and jalapeños. And oh, did they live up to the hype! The plain pizza was a testament to how, when done right, even simplicity can be heavenly. The calamata and jalapeño pizza was a true flavor powerhouse, with the brininess of the olives beautifully counteracted by the kick of the jalapeños. What stood out prominently was the distinct quality of their dough. Their use of unbleached flour and slow-fermented dough truly sets them apart. This dedication results in a pizza crust that's light, delicate, and utterly delectable. Another huge plus for us was the speed of service. Even though we were prepared to wait, our pizzas were ready in just 15 minutes, which, given their quality, felt like a pleasant surprise. Coupled with the warm and friendly staff (shoutout to Luigi for his evident passion!), the whole experience was memorable. Lucky's Pizza isn't just about food – it's about passion. It promises tantalizing tastes, speedy service, and the joy of discovering a hidden gem in Canoga Park. Definitely worth the hype and the...
Read moreI just left Lucky's Pizza and all I can say is where the Eff has this pizza been all my life. I took the first bite and was catapulted back to the east coast. My daughter laughed hysterically and said, " I reminded her of Remy from Ratatouille when he took a bite of cheese and closed his eyes and savored the bite', lol. IT'S REALLY THAT GOOD!!!!! After I placed my order for a Large cheese pizza, I started to walk away and then out of curiosity I asked Brandon if they had vegan cheese and to my surprise they did. So, he split the pizza in half, one side vegan cheese the other regular and put a topping where the separation was. My daughter who hasn't been able to have a pizza in years was about to have her first pizza. She too was blown away at how the pizza looked identical to mine both in presentation and taste, but the cheese texture is slightly different so you know its vegan but she was beyond thrilled to finally have a real pizza.
All I can say is thank you Brandon for going above and beyond to make my daughter happy. Also, your customer service is on point. The passion for what you do really shows and I am looking forward to my next pizza. FYI, Brandon gave me some spicy mango sauce, OOOOOMMMMMMGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!! YOU MUST...
