Masis Bakery — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I had an awful experience at Masis Bakery on Sunland Blvd. I bought lavash, and it started to rot within just two days. When I returned to ask why they were selling stale lavash, the lady with black hair was dismissive and told me, “You need to eat it all the same day or the next day, otherwise it will go bad. You need to check the expiration date on the bread.” She even had the audacity to accuse me of not being responsible. Excuse me, I bought the lavash at 5 pm, and it was set to expire in just 7 hours! I didn’t check the expiration date because I expect bakery products to be fresh. There are plenty of bakeries around, and we buy from them expecting fresh bread, not to have to double-check every purchase. It’s the worker’s responsibility to ensure the quality of the product, not make customers feel like they’re at fault. I’ve never felt so disrespected. I will not...

Love this place. Best Hummus and side salads. Love their Mortadella sandwich and all their kabobs. You could buy meat by the pound and take it home or they will cook it for you for a small extra charge. They have tons of lunch and dinner options such as kabob, lula, chicken, pork chop, fish plates that all come with rice salad and hummus. They have a huge selection of bakery items as well which are all very delicious. If you need an amazing cake for a special occasion such as a birthday they have them ready to go or you could order a custom one ahead of time. I come here for lunch a few times a week and I usually get the sturgeon fish. I've never had sturgeon fish until they recommended me trying it and I absolutely love it. The food is delicious, always. I have eaten here many times before. This time... I had to go to the restroom.... which is not available to customers. The older lady told me tobgoto the laundromat for the restroom, so I went to find out it's a quarter for the restroom door lock. Went back to Masi to get a quarter... younger lady try to give me two dollars worth a quarter.... I just need a quarter to use the restroom at the laundromat.... Which was broken, that I couldn't use the restroom... I never ate so fast at Masi... I did made safely to the restroom.... Stop by restroom before eating at...
