Food was delicious, but service was horrible. I dont want to sound like an inconsiderate brat, but service is what makes a difference in a buesniss. I walked in, the waitress looked at me as if i was lost. She asked what i would like to order with out handing me a menu. Generally speaking the food menu is all the same at each hispanic/ latin restaurant, so i had an idea what i wanted to order. All that i am saying is looking at a menu would have been nice, i could have seen something that could have changed my mind. I asked if i could sit down, she said yes and walked away. To make a long story short for the type and quality of food comming out of the kitchen, it does not reflect the quality of customer service...

I've been a regular at Rancheros Tacos for ages, but guess what? I've never left them a review - shocking, I know! My all-time favorite dish there has to be the pupusas. They whip them up fresh, so patience is key! Oh, and on Wednesdays, you can snag a pupusa for just $2.50 - a steal! Usually, I'm at the laundromat next door and never considered having breakfast here. What I love is the choice between Salvadorian or Mexican style. The Salvadorian one comes with cheese and sweet plantains, while the Mexican version comes with rice, and beans, both are served with homemade tortillas! The bill was a reasonable $15 for a Machaca plate. And as a bonus, if you dine in, they'll throw in free...

I always used to order here but not too long ago, I ordered pupusas and a side of the platanito with frijoles and rice. I have a great sense of smell and always know when food is about to go rancid or if it's already gone bad. The frijoles smelled SOOO BAD and the cheese smelled like smelly socks! I went back kindly and spoke the old lady that is always cooking in the back regarding the rancid beans/cheese and she got offended and started screaming at me that I was crazy and had to get out. The next day my bf and myself got FOOD POISONING and MAJOR DIARRHEA. The old lady likes to sell rancid food to not lose profit and disregards the health of her customers. Very sad:(. I wonder how any other people have gotten food poisoning from this place. (Read other comments, I'm not the only one) !STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT!

¡ALEJENSE...
