If a restaurant employee is reading this review, please pass it on to your "good" staff.
Basically, this is my first time coming here. I read the reviews and decided to try it out because apparently the reviews deemed it "great". Any ways, aside from their humongous drive-thru menu, I wanted to order a gyro. Some lady from the intercom greeted me, but I couldn't really understand her because she was laughing throughout her greeting. Sadly, I can't really eat red meat so I asked if they can replace their lamb with chicken. She said that they can and so I ordered it. Arriving at the window, she sped talk the order and the price (to which she didn't say after I ordered my meal). She looked like she was in her mid 40's so I let it go. I gave her my card, processed the payment, said goodbye with a smile and left.
As soon as I got home, I opened the package and found a steak sandwich. I called the restaurant. To make this long story short, here is what I found out:
Who says that? Seriously.
I tried my best to be a good Samaritan and not get angry but her one worded with an attitude answers just made it worst.

The diner was all dressed up for Halloween. Very festive and super fun to see. The lady at the counter said it was the bosses doing. The boss was right there and she was so sweet and kind. I told her I loved what she did to the place.
The staff here are some of the most nicest I’ve encountered. Too bad we can’t clone this diners stuff and put them in the surrounding restaurants of LA. They really know what customer service is all about. Very family oriented. Ask her.
So this being a Diner and everything you have to judge it the way a diner should be judged. It can’t be compared to fast food places; nor can it be compared to an upscale restaurant. Diner nothing more nothing less.
The food comes out fast and it is definitely great diner food. There is a variety of food for everyone’s pallet.
I had the cheeseburger meal, but instead of fries I asked for zucchini sticks. My mom got a baked potato with broccoli and cheese and a hotdog. Everything is good. Only thing I would recommend is making the zucchini sticks bigger instead of so small. Reason being is it, so it’s up too much of the oil when it’s being fried. Other than that very good. My mother said that the big potato in the hot dog was flavorful and good.
If you want to go in, Diner was great service, and good food I would definitely recommend this place.
Ps. They have a...

One of the best Burrito places in the Valley! And the burgers are great too!
Inexpensive prices, and huge portions are the name of the game at this place. I definitely got my money's worth, and the taste, flavor and overall experience were amazing.
Service: you order at the counter, and then someone brings the food out to you. Staff is very friendly and polite. They do work great as a team behind the counter.
Food: amazing! Carne Asada Burrito $11.25. For this price, you can't beat the portion size, and the quality. The burrito is huge! About the size of a Dos Manos at Baja fresh. But the quality here at Old Time is so much better. You can actually taste all the seasoning and spice, the rice is cooked perfectly, everything is tasty and tangy. The quality of the meat is good, and it's grilled 2 perfection. You can actually feel the texture, and it has a great chew to it.
Avocado Bacon Burger $8.95: order it medium rare, you can't go wrong. Juicy! They do give you about a quarter to a half of an avocado on it, and it comes with two slices of bacon. Very tasty! I also like the soft bun. It's a decent sized hamburger, at least 5 inches in diameter.
Parking is plentiful in the back. 2 handicap spaces as well.
If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try, and please tell them I sent you.
