McDonald's — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Been a customer of this particular McDonalds about 34 years. Still had the fountain inside back then. Had 39 cent and 49 cent burgers and cheese burgers then also. I've only had one bad experience there and so long ago it isn't mentionable. The four stars only has mostly to do with remodeling it back to a 70's looking theme. The inside seating may as well be park bench. Two very nice size booths in there will be the only comfort you'll get. Rarely available. The drive thru update slowed this location and others. Yeah the remod's to bring in the McCafe. Horrid. The soft drinks in this one as well as just about all with auto drink fillers are never full, "topped off" usually 3/4 full. Same as the sundaes. Hand it back. Demand they fill it.!! The garden salad was once a nice health wise choice when still a buck and was in fact a salad with croutons and lettuce. The salads have now become a bowl of leaves, stems and various colors included. No croutons or lettuce. :(. The QPC though! Is back to plain perfect. Use app discount and affordable enough to love again. Bring back McDLT! Updated review as of October 5 2022. Well I can't say they have improved because I'm still having the problems with the cokes and sundaes not being full. Not even 3/4 full. They now no longer have the $1.00 large cokes and the sundaes are up to $2.69 each. No more two McDoubles or Mcchickens for 3 bucks either. The salads are no longer available at all. I know its inflation and thats buisness. Prices go up. If we're gonna pay top dollar then top off the beverages. Also, they removed the beverage self serves. Now you gotta stand in line for a refill. I stopped by this Mcdonald on my way home from Encino. I put my mobile order in through their app since I wanted to use my reward points for the large French fries and also get a large Fanta orange drink. In their app, they don't have an option for light ice so I had to select regular ice. The drive thru lane here is 2 lanes that merge into 1 so it helps when they get busy. They were not busy when I pulled in so I was able to give them my mobile code right away and asked for light ice on my drink. I had to wait a little for my fries to come out but they didn't ask me to park in their reserve parking spot. The worker who give me my drink was cool, I asked for ketchup and he give me 10 packets. They didnt fill up my fries all the way to the top which seem to be the norms now and it almost tasted plain, I think they didn't put much salt on it. Dear Macdonald's Management, I'm writing to express my gratitude and to praise your manager, Miriam. My family and I visited the restaurant today, and we were absolutely blown away by her exceptional service. Miriam treated us with the kind of hospitality you'd expect at a five-star hotel. She was incredibly friendly, eager to help, and made sure our visit was perfect. We live near another McDonald's, but Miriam's outstanding service has convinced us to make the drive to this location instead. Beyond the excellent service, we were also impressed with the restaurant itself. The kid's play area was a huge hit, and the entire restaurant was modern, clean, and neat.
