This is not a café - don't be fooled by Instagram hype. I normally don't leave negative reviews, but my experience at Meymuni Café was so misleading that I feel obligated to share it - especially for people who rely on Google Maps and social media to discover quality spots. We drove a considerable distance to get there, expecting a cozy café vibe, something warm, inviting, and original. But the moment we stepped inside, the reality couldn't have been further from the image they portray online. X Misleading Atmosphere Instead of a café, what we found was a cold, characterless space dominated by a refrigerator full of bulk-packaged deli meats and sausages - the kind you'd expect in a low-tier grocery store, not a place branding itself as a "café". There was no ambiance, no real décor, no music - just an awkward emptiness with a few men standing behind the counter doing... not much. Extremely Slow Service We were the only customers at the time. Even so, it took them over 21 minutes to make one drink: their heavily advertised Lavashak shake. And let me tell you — it wasn't worth the wait. It tasted like watered-down strawberry syrup. It had none of the tangy, sour character you'd expect from lavashak. It felt like a cheap sugary mix, not a crafted beverage. Poor Stock & Customer Experience My friends just wanted a Coke, and they were told there were only two cans available. That alone says enough. You can't call yourself a café if you can't offer a basic beverage in decent quantity. Overpriced and Overhyped The price we paid for that shake was ridiculous given what we received. And the worst part? We fell for it because of Instagram posts and curated stories that made it look like a cool, trendy place. It wasn't. It was dull, disconnected, and commercial in the worst sense. Bottom line: Don't waste your time, gas, or money. This place is trying to sell you an experience that doesn't exist. If you're looking for an actual café with character, quality, and respect for your time -...
Read moreReally enjoyed the quality of this new neighborhood cafe! We are way overdue for a proper coffee shop in this area. The black sesame latte was delicious; not too sweet or overly creamy like others I've had. I also had the avocado mousse toast and feta honey - delicious! I'm giving a 4/5 because I was hoping the atmosphere would feel more like a cozy neighborhood cafe (perhaps a place to sit with my laptop), but it was very distracting that it's connected to the workout studio next door and you can hear the music shaking the walls. I would also recommend better ventilation system (or the addition of outdoor seating) because unfortunately it smells like a sweaty gym inside, which wasn't pleasant to have while trying to enjoy a meal. Overall, I would definitely come back again but probably more likely...
Read moreA cute little café just opened around the corner from my job, and I’m so glad I gave it a try. It’s super convenient for a quick stop before work or during lunch, and the service was genuinely warm and welcoming — you can tell they care about creating a good experience.
I ordered the pistachio cream matcha and wow… it was so good. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and the pistachio flavor came through beautifully. I also tried the avocado mousse toast and it was amazing — super fresh, light but satisfying, and plated really nicely.
Definitely a new go-to for me. Highly recommend if you’re...
