Place gets a 3 because Mango aguachile has literally 4 slices of Mango regular slices ? What is the point of that can't even put it in the tostada right, smh 2nd cashier asked to answer the question on the screen it was a tip obviously, I didn't wanna be cheap left 18%, turned out to be 13$ dollar tip on 60$ ? Wow nice, not I wouldn't have an issue but literally Noone brought us the food, the place was dead & the girl just shouting on the speaker for the number, why doesn't she bring the food to the table? Asking for tip but can't even bring the food to the table? This is a glorified food truck its all it is. My gf goes ND gets the food the cashier tells the girl if she can help her with the other tray (there where two) and she just acted like she didn't hear and went to the back, smh lazy but yet there quick to ask for a tip for doing what ? Idk there job, they don't provide any service here at all and food is basic. Wanted to wait until I'd gone twice to review and I gotta say both times the food was delicious. We were big fans of Los Paisas, the restaurant that was here before. And I think it's the same group just a new theme/style.

Food wise, the tacos, civeche, and definitely the nachos are stellar. We haven't ate in yet, because 2020, but everything we've ordered to go is stellar.

Tacos come on flour tortillas, but they have great corn tortillas available as well.

Staff is friendly and quick. I'd say it's a touch on the pricey side, but I'm probably just getting old and back in my day a soda pop was 50 cents. So it's not unreasonable.

Currently they've got out door dining as well. Which is a treat and a great place to enjoy such good food with our good so cal weather.

Honestly the five stars are for the Wednesday $20 box special. 12 fried fish tacos, battered fries, some pickled onions and cucumbers. The fish has always been freshly fried and piping hot. Service is good. Good permanent outdoor seating. There's currently michelada mix on the soda fountain.

It's a pandemic. Sometimes there's big yellow peppers on top, sometimes there's extra salsa on the side, sometimes the fries aren't battered, sometimes the fountain machine isn't on. It happens, it's still a good experience overall. More pleasant seating at this location than Carson.

We've tried other stuff: the michelada botanera was a little too heavy on the salts and I like things spicy and salty, good amount of seafood though. Potato tacos were good, as were the shrimp. For the value though, we keep coming back for the fried fish on Wednesday. $1.69 for a single. Not sure how they do it. I'm waiting for the price to go up and have no idea...
