Original Tommy's — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I gave it 5 stars because it's exactly what you would expect from a greasy spoon style 75+ years old burger chain specializing in chili topped wonderments!

It's not fancy, but it sure is good!!

They have a way to fix everything and I got all items their way. It was a great move.

The chili dog had an excellent snap to the dog casing, the bun was soft, the square of American cheese melted perfectly against the bean less chili. The chopped onions, pickles and tomato slice just rounded it off perfectly.

The chili cheese double burger was big, hot, juicy and best of all, it was messy!! Again the pickles and tomato slice add just a bit of cool and salty to cut the grease.

The chili cheese fries were lava hot 🔥. They were just out of the frier and were crisp and golden. They were a bigger fry, so they held up great to the chili and cheese moisture without getting soggy.

Seems all of these locations are about the same. Good classic food, fast, hot and fresh.

Definitely should be on your list of places to hit when you are in from out of town. I will be...

Original Tommy's saved my life.

I was on the verge of death from a night of extreme partying. My alcohol levels matched that of Post Malone in a country music festival.

At the end of my alcohol induced night. I was nearing the end of the tunnel, and was within reach of The Light. Then I smelled something even more heavenly, I looked over and saw a Tommy's.

I've always heard of their chili cheese burgers, and was curious. So I put my meeting with God on hold, and went in and ordered a chili cheese burger with a side of chili cheese fries. I took my first bite and was instantly transported to heaven on earth, or what many know it as Flavor Town. I was instantly cured of my alcoholism and a future hangover.

10/10 would recommend their chili...

Been eating Tommy's my whole life (68 yrs). I now live in Mesa Arizona. Where are you? Don't talk about moving here. Stop flapping the gums. Get you butts out here mucho pronto. Plenty of land to choose from. Premium locations skies the limit. Goddamm what's the hold up! All I want is my double burger no cheese, no mustard, with extra onions, tomatoes, and don't forget that most amazing, a treat for the taste buds extra chilli. With fries and those yummy yellow chillies. Topped off with a cup of pop. Over all the restaurants out here serve vile disgusting food. With low standards. A Tommy's out here would be a welcomed addition. When are you comming? Tomorrow is not soon...
