Oro's Bakery & Pizza — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The food was what you should expect from a quick service place, but the customer service was lacking so I'd refrain from any level of complication in your order. I used their online system to order a pizza. The system lets you select toppings and place them on either the whole pizza or only one half, should you desire so I divided them accordingly. When I picked up the pizza all of the toppings were on one side of the pizza with the other side only having the toppings listed for the entire pizza. I asked him to show me the order thinking that I had screwed it up online, however upon inspecting it the toppings were clearly separated by "first side" and "second side", which are terms that their automated system uses. I can understand a place not giving you something to make up for the mistake, but the guy at the counter wouldn't even acknowledge the mistake saying that it was my fault. Something about that seems wrong to me and I probably won't come back. You can't afford bad customer service in LA where there are a thousand other options that are just as good with far superior...

I have tried this place a few times by now and I feel like I am able to give an honest review. Coming from someone who was never a real fan of tres leches cake, these guys really changed my mind. I liked it so much that I bought it for three separate parties within a week, and my guests agreed with me. I love that they have the individual servings of cake and also that you can get berries (Optional for individual servings). The staff was able to work with me when I placed an order for a cake the night before and also to have it slightly modified. As for the food, I tried the calzone with pineapple, ham and jalapeno and also the philly sandwich. The philly sandwich is a must!!! The meat was well seasoned. The Calzone was good too and they had it made fresh on the spot. I still need to go back to try the cheesecake and their other pastries. The place is small and great for a cute date night, not crowded. Orders are taking about 25 min to make. I think it is worth the wait. So far, 5...

Saw it on tiktok decided to try it out - service was bad they seem a lil overwhelm . Table wasn’t clean until i ask them to. Brought me the wrong pizza and forgot my cheesecake. I expected the food to be out of this world - pizza it wasn’t 🤣 it taste like it was missing something probably more sauce or the sauce was missing an ingredient . A little bland. Most of the cakes and pastries were sold out -cheese cake taste freshly frozen ….. still was a lil frozen . I’ll go back once more to try the pastries and I’ll update my review to a higher rating if they meet expectations. But pizza was 3/5 for the price . I almost gave them a 3 star just because the eating in store experience but the food was 3.5 so i rounded up...
