We stopped I randomly when an app wasn't working for waiting list for another restaurant. We figured we'd give it a try look nice from the outside. When we called they said they had hard shell tacos which was my original desire. The place was clean nice and spacious inside but kind of empty. they had the football game going on multiple screens few people in the dining room few people on the bar. Wait staff was excellent cheerful polite and helpful. When I asked the server questions about food she was kind enough to give great answers. They had a nice salsa bar. There was a guacamole bar but nothing in it. Food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced with generous portions. When there was a miscommunication about my order they remade it without pause or question or even me asking. The only problem was when the bill came. Our huge burritos for $13 a Coke 3:25 all very reasonable but I ordered a fruit drink that normally has alcohol in virgin form. My drank was still $10 almost as much as my meal not at all worth the price. Additionally the price was not clearlly visible next to the drink on the menu. Needless to say it took a reasonable $30 Bill to 40 so I was a bit taken back. I thought the price was outrageous and the drink wasn't that good so lesson learned. The other thing that was questionable was my burrito when I ordered it came with a chicken or beef choice I asked if they could mix it half-and-half and the server said yes only to return to tell me there would be an additional $7 charge on a $13 Burrito to do a half split of meats I think that their server had language barrier issues and for me that can make or break coming...
Read moreHorrible experience!! My husband and I wanted to eat dinner there and have been their before the service is not bad and food not bad. However when I went in today I waited at the front for a few minutes for a host. The manager saw me in the front while he was sitting at the bar eating and didnât do anything about the fact that someone was standing at the front to be seated and no one els saw me standing there. Then I walked up to staff and asked if I could sit outside. The rude host who was obviously not where she was supposed to be said in a rude not professional or kind manner âwere you waiting to be seatedâ ?!? I said YES. and she said ok. Then I walked up to the front and she walked up as well and attempted to seat another party who had came in after me. I was so irritated at that moment but thought oh well, I grabbed some menus and walked outside she followed me outside and said in the rudest most confrontational tone âFOR FUTURE REFERENCE NEXT TIME WAIT TO BE SEATED â for future reference there wonât be a future reference, we will just go to el torrito or another Mexican restaurant!!!! I have worked in the restaurant business since I can remember. The HOST Should ALWAYS BE AT THE FRONT, For future reference!!! She should have apologized for not being at the front and then said no problem enjoy your meal, AND SMILED because there were plenty of places to sit and letâs face it they need...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at La Corona Bar and Grill and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with vibrant colors and lively mariachi music setting the tone for a festive night out.
But what truly made our evening stand out was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our meal was perfect. From recommending the perfect dishes to making sure our glasses were always full, exceeded all expectations.
We started with the guacamole, there a lady who actually preps the guacamole right in front of your eyes, For our main courses, we opted for the Mar y Tierra Campechana,Barbacoa Tacos and Birria plate all of which were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, and we left feeling satisfied but not stuffed.
But what really impressed us was the waiter. He checked in on us regularly, refilled our drinks without being asked. His enthusiasm and passion for his work were contagious, and we left feeling like we had made a new friend.
In short, La Corona Bar and Grill is a must-visit for anyone who loves Mexican cuisine. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lively, and the service is truly exceptional. And if you're lucky enough to...
