Mama’s Donuts — Restaurant in Los Angeles

They say their donuts are the best in the Valley. I can't confirm that since I havent had every donut. But I've had quite a few and havent had any better. Especially early in the morning, their fresh made glaze donuts literally melt in your mouth. I once got one still warm from the cook. INSANE! Light, airy, just a hint of flakiness, sweet but not overwhelmingly so. This might be the best Donut place in LA county, among a lot of REALLY GOOD donuts. No need for fancy toppings like kids' cereal and bacon to draw you in. These folks are craftsmen and women who have simply mastered the art of donut. **they have specialty toppings too. I just never need them to keep on coming back.

Mama’s Donuts knows how to do donuts...and sandwiches and boba and croissants (savory and plain) and coffee. It’s rare these days to find a place that has it all: fair prices, a menu with both fun items like honeydew boba slushie as well as a wide variety of donut favorites. What’s more, the owners are friendly and no matter how early in the morning it is, they have a smile for their customers. Service is quick, the restaurant has plenty seating, and it’s clean and tidy. Been coming here once in a while for years and always have a pleasant experience. Usually try to come in the mornings when everything is fresh (like everywhere else). Their donuts taste good, my favorite so far is their apple fritter which is crunchy soft and has delicious flavor.
