this place is a joke. we made dinner reservation 3 months in advance for 20 people for an event the restaurant mentioned they are hosting. the restaurant cancelled the event 1 week prior to the event, so we called to cancel our dinner reservation. But instead of canceling our reservation the owner's wife was going off bad mouthing the event director and their staff, which had nothing to do with us... when we told the owner's wife we dont know what she is talking about and we just called to cancel our reservation, she started to raise her voice and bad mouth the event staff even more. we dont recommend making dinner reservations here, this place is unstable and lacks professionalism, we told the same to all of our guests and they agreed. we hope the owner's wife understood to cancel our dinner reservations, because we reserved at another more professional establishment...

Then the owner writes she doesn’t recall bad mouthing anyone, and then starts to bad mouth some director! She admits not hosting any event for us, then says we are connected! had a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience with Pialoon Restaurant. We had a verbal agreement over the phone to reserve the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, with the understanding that guests would order around $1500 worth of food. If the total came up short, we would cover the rest. However, as we were leaving, Eli asked me, “Are you paying the $1500 in cash or card?” I calmly explained that this wasn’t what we had agreed on, and instead of discussing it respectfully, she began yelling, using rude language, and eventually asked us to leave the restaurant.

If it had truly been a misunderstanding, no professional owner would act that way over $100. It felt like she was trying to push boundaries to see if we would just pay without question.

There were only two servers for nearly 100 guests, and service was slow and chaotic. The last Saturday, I had attended another event at the same restaurant hosted by a friend.
