Spicy Lime Thai — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Visiting Spicy Lime was definitely a one and done experience. I had the chicken curry lunch special and you pretty much needed a microscope to see the food. The curry was super watered down and there were probably 2-4 ounces of small pieces of chicken in the soup sized cup it comes in. I don't generally count my food but there were so little carrots and potato that I counted them out of curiosity and found there were literally 2 small pieces of carrot and 2 specs of potato. The curry was just nothing special as far as taste. I asked for mild yet it was burning my mouth. The salad came with some brown dressing that did not have a good flavor and didn't taste like anything I could recognize. Maybe it was some weird take on balsamic? The two wonton pieces were soaked in a syrupy sweet artificial tasting orange sauce. I basically spent $15 and left hungry and trying to get gross tastes out of my mouth. The service was minimal. My order was taken, my food was plopped down and my check was given and that was it. The server was also coughing into her hand and not using anything to sanitize her hand as she kept on taking orders and handling plates which was really gross and concerning. I love their food but their customer service is TERRIBLE. Everytime I come to this store, the old lady the one who took the order is always RUDE!!! She’s kinda like racist too. She’s acting nice when it comes to white customer and the last time I ordered from them, I ask them nicely if they can please do “no salt” on my noodles because my dad doesn’t like any salt on our food because he is sick, she yell at me that if I want sauce and salt? I said “no salt please”, she just turn around and talk in Thai to the people who works in the kitchen. They rolled their eyes on me. I just ignored it and I ask for extra vinegar, she asked me to pay $5 for extra vinegar, so I paid for it. When I got home, the other vinegar that I got, the one it comes with the steamed fish, it’s almost nothing. So disappointing! I would definitely not coming back to this store anymore and I will highly not recommend this store. Double thumbs down to their customer...

2nd time order for delivery, 1- rice portions are not as the pictures, way small ( good taste ) 2- Spicy wings were not as meaty as the menu pictures, really bad and disappointed 3- I am not complaining about the $100 for 3 meals and 1 desert , but at least add napkins and utensils as courtesy when asked 2 times 😉, Would I order again ? Not really , I think I would visit if I decide to eat it again 🤔. Chiken padthai was great 😋 👍🏼. Lastly , the plastic containers are so thin and hot , it feels as if they are melting within the food ( not a fan and is why I won't order again ) Banana rolls deserts , they were not cooked Orange chicken , NO FLAVOR , dry and no taste !
