We first ate Peruvian food in Puerto Rico and enjoyed it. Then a Peruvian restaurant opened Taos and it was also very good so we’re not entirely ignoring or the cuisine it not really knowledgeable either. Our experience here was so very good I think we’ll have explore more as opportunities arise. That said… The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout but especially when we were deciding what to order. Then two uniformed police officers came in and it was obvious they were regular customers. As a former LEO I know how valuable a good eating place is and one that is dependable with good food and quick service is a treasure. So another point. The next time we’re in that area I imagine we will stop in again.

Pollos A La Brasa in Eagle Rock, CA, is a hidden gem for lovers of Peruvian cuisine. Known for its mouthwatering rotisserie chicken, the restaurant crafts each dish with authentic flavors and perfection in grilling. The menu extends beyond chicken, featuring traditional Peruvian sides like yuca and aji sauce. The casual yet inviting atmosphere makes it ideal for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The prices are reasonable for the generous portions and quality of the food. Pollos A La Brasa provides a flavorful journey to Peru without breaking the bank, making it a must-visit for those seeking delicious, wallet-friendly Peruvian fare in Eagle Rock.

This was the worst place ever.. 8 tables, 25 people and one waiter, we ordered 3 items. 2 to eat there. One to go.. charged us for the one to go, but forgot to make it, so wait another half and hour for them to make it. We ordered the WORST picarones EVER.. $ 7.50 a plate of raw dough, terrible tasting, picarones, I could not give this to my dog.

I went about a month ago for take out. I offered a whole chicken, shrimp in garlic sauce and flank steak to take home. My wife picked up the food and ask the girl at the counter with a mole on her face, is this everything I ordered. After being told yes she drove home to Flushing, Queens. Found parking in an area that is of Flushing that is a tough battle to find parking. We were glad to be home to relax, then called the kids to the kitchen table to eat. Well, only to find out the girl with the black mole on her face forgot to put the whole chicken in our bag. We called to tell her of her error only for her to suggest we come by tomorrow. Funny right? So what are my kids going to eat tonight? We went back to Astoria and asked to speak to the manager to see what he'd be willing to give us for this major inconvenience. Well, they told me he wasn't there which was a lie and I asked for my whole chicken that I paid for but didn't receive and another shrimp in garlic on the house. After about an hour back and fourth they charged me $6 for another shrimp in garlic sauce meal since I had to give it to one of my kids. As I left, the girl with the black mole said something inappropriate. No matter how good the cook is, if you don't get good service from the girl at the counter with the black mole on her face, I would always check my order before walking out. Just a nasty attitude and a even nastier situation that could have...
