This is a great place to stay in Glendale. The service was good, ring the bell and give the attendant some time when checking in at night. The rooms are decent, not nasty like some places, and the bathrooms are adequate for traveling to get cleaned up. However if you have children, the locks are able to be opened from inside, most hotels have this problem though. Since switching to keycards very few are child proof. I would recommend this hotel if you happen to be in the LA area and want an upscale hotel with clean rooms and good service.

You cannot stay here if you have asthma or any breathing issues. 1) the room smelled overwhelmingly of cleaning product, while remaining dirty with sticky floors. 2) there was smoking going on outside of the rooms in hallways. We found bugs (ants and flies) and a lot of dirt in the rooms. No attention to details were found. It would appear the review ratings have been fabricated, or one single room was incredibly sub-par. We left after 30 minutes and found much better a few miles away.

Hotel looks like it was recently renovated. Not fancy, but the room was clean and was nice inside. Parking was free on site and the front desk attendant was helpful. Close to the freeway and there are a couple of places to get food near by. Also close to York Blvd where there were coffee shops and restaurants to grab a quick bite. Overall pretty good value!

I planned on staying at this motel for 4 nights but I had to cancel the first night of my stay. I had called 24 hours in advance as well as before 3pm that day. In the email it strictly says no charge for cancelations done before that time. As I arrived & checked in, the older lady charged me for the canceled day as well as the rest of my stay. She did not seem to know what was going on. She said that it was due to tax but my email confirmation for the 4 days was the same amount as I was forced to pay. I was very unhappy about this & the service. Another con of the hotel is that there is no on-site elevator! We stayed on the 3rd floor & bringing suitcases up & down those stairs was very tiring. The inside of the room had a very "Indian" smell. The toilet paper was very cheap. On the first day of check in, I found a curly hair in the mini fridge. There was also a hole in the blanket that looked like it was caused by a cigarette. The door has trouble closing, you literally have to slam it shut. Also, the door isn't leveled so theres a gap inside the room & you can see light come in from there. The bathroom has poor ventilation so it will smell like mildew. Their shower is nice with the stone walls but doesn't feel pleasant under your feet. I did enjoy that it was an easy drive to other places. It takes about 20-30 minutes to get to Little Tokyo, Korea Town, Santa Monica, Glendale Mall, etc. Next time ill spend the extra $ to stay somewhere a...

I stayed here 1 night March of 2025. I was granted a late check out of 1 pm from Nick, after a racist experience at islander motel. He was kind, warm, and made me feel really safe. The next day at 12:30 pm I went to the lobby to drop off my key card. A woman was there, who looked at me, and tried to force me to speak to her through the overnight window. The one from 11pm-7am. They keep the lobby door locked to buzz people in. During the appropriate hours, I completely understand it has nothing to do with anyone's ethnicity. It's a safety precaution. That does not apply at 12:30 pm, during the afternoon when you see a person is black and try and refuse to open the lobby door. I looked at her and gestured to the door and then she buzzed me in. I handed her my key card and let her know I was checking out. I couldn't even speak, I was so shocked and disturbed at what happened. On camera. I said I'm checking out and wanted my deposit. She then proceeded to explain how it's if there's no damage to the room. I of course, understand what a deposit is for. I said "I'm letting you know I'm checking out so someone can check". My deposit was released shortly after. But to see someone is black, and deny the entry to the lobby, as a paying guest, is barbaric and dehumanizing beyond words. I am sueing this property for racial discrimination and violating my civil rights. As a guest who paid, in full. Thank you to Nick for giving non...

Do not stay here! Staff is super rude. Maids steal from you ( do not put anything in the safe!) cash, electronics and clothes, nothing is safe including you strange goings on at night with the staff rude housekeepers wake you up in spite of DND on your door and Mona the owner defends her very unprofessional staff blames you and refuses to show you the CCTV proof. They seem nice when you check in but the women here are nightmare, they walk in on you and are rude & nasty. Loud rooms. Shady characters in parking lot every night, your car broken into, knocking on your door middle of the night. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM HERE AS POSSIBLE! Staff yells outside your window in the 6:00 a.m. hour! Always cutting off the water on you while you shower, making loud repairs at all hours, very rude personnel. Watch out for the evil clerk; It's like they all hate their job they hate you and will let you know it. Night clerk falls asleep on the job,so if you're locked out you could spend the whole night outside because he won't answer.

Also no nonsmoking section: every other room is smoking next to nonsmoking rooms, meaning their fumes comes into your air vent and under your door! Plus, of course, dogs barking at all hours and trying to attack you when you...
