I was greeted upon entering by the counter person. The place had a clean appearance and decent feel. It was when I asked to use the restroom that things went South. Actually, I was let in easy enough, however, it was after I propped open the door for a quick sec to retrieve some personal hygiene that is not provided that things got downright ugly. Thankfully I don't have a weak heart else this might have ended up in an ambulance ride to the hospital or worse. For, no less than 30 seconds after closing the door was a violent pounding or kicking on the door. I shudder to think how someone of faint heart would have handled the explosion of sound and shaking of the door. I turned off the faucet and grabbed paper towel and opened the door thinking someone might have a bathroom emergency happening, but when I looked outside 15-20 seconds later there was no one there. I asked a gentleman standing nearby if he had seen anyone and he pointed farther back. I looked around the corner to see the rear door of the restaurant open but nobody nearby. I don't know if this is some kind of cruel joke. I found it very disturbing and rude to say the least. I went it and cancelled my order and notified them of the coming negative review. I shall not be patronizing this establishment ever again. I shall in fact be contacting corporate regarding the incident. And that's all I have to...
Read moreI love the chicken, flavor and texture, but prefer white meat, not dark meat. I went to buy a family meal there and wanted to upgrade it to white meat only. I was told that they do not do that . I replied that I always had the 2 or 3 piece combo and was able to do so then, so why couldn't I just do the same and pay extra which I was okay with? They still insisted that that's the only way they would do it. I ended up buying the meal because I was so hungry and didnt want to spend another 20 minutes going elsewhere. Nevertheless I will never go back for a family meal there ever again. The family meal came with 2 large sides as well, but don't be fooled as to think they are large, they are about double the size of a single meal side, not enough to share for three or more people, sigh...too bad the experience was enough for me to just go to other chicken restaurants when I'm in the mood for such. By the way I talked to the Popeyes employee (politely) for quite a while going in circles, it was quite frustrating. Bad experience overall, except the chicken which I like. BTW it was a 12 piece meal, and the biscuits were uncharacteristically hard...
Read moreThis is, without a doubt, the most poorly managed Popeyes I’ve ever encountered. They never answer the phone, which is incredibly frustrating. Time and again, I’ve had to visit the location in person only to discover that the item I wanted would take 20–30 minutes to prepare. This could have easily been avoided if they simply answered the phone and allowed customers to place orders in advance.
This has been an ongoing issue for over three years. When I’ve asked the cashiers why the phone goes unanswered, they claim it’s because the phone is located in the back office, and they don’t hear it ringing. A simple solution, such as using a cordless phone, could easily resolve this problem, but it seems there’s no interest in improving customer service.
The lack of professionalism and disregard for basic customer convenience is unacceptable. This location needs serious management improvements to provide the level of service...
