Came with a party of 11 at 2 tables at the outside patio. Noticed the pigeons around tables looking for food. Slow service at a 50% full restaurant. Drink orders were taken and 10 minutes later they arrived. Another 10 passed before the orders were taken and while looking around saw that the floors were dirty. I ordered fish tacos while are remaining party also ordered. My order arrived 20 minutes later and was barely warm. The fish was not crispy and lettuce was substituted for cabbage. The fish taco combination plate was disappointing and expensive. There was little cheese. There was an unexpected sweet taste. Rice had little flavor. The refried beans were OK with melted cheese. I visited the restroom and found it dirty and not ADA accessible. Separate checks were asked for and denied as part of the restaurant policy we were told. This was very inconvenient as most in the party did not carry cash yet the restaurant added 15% gratuity automatically just for having a larger group. Frankly, this is a restaurant that needs a visit from the health department.

The server was very nice but not very attentive. We had to wave him down for refills as well as for boxes at the end. The restaurant wasn't too busy (rainy day), so it wasn't like he was overwhelmed with tables. We couldn't find him when it was time for the bill, so we just asked a waitress that had been nearby for the check and settled it up front. Sort of a weird note - the booth seats are really low. Our table wobbled and was sticky. The food was good. The chips were fresh and still warm. They had no issue bringing a second salsa, which was nice. The table was so big you'd drip salsa everywhere sharing it. The proportions were decent, and the variety in options was great. The rice and beans were delicious. The rice was fluffy and flavorful, and the beans were fresh and cheesy but not overly so. Fajitas were really good and had a decent meat to veggies ratio.
