The playground at Brand Park needs some serious clean-up/ power washing/disinfecting. It was my first time visiting it and not planning on returning. I took my toddler for play time. It was midday, so there was plenty of parking... but the parking lot smelled like urine or worse... (keep reading). I noticed a small group of parents with toddlers in the Playground, so I figured it wasn't that bad there. The playground equipment is diverse and has many fun and challenging things to do. I can definitely see kids all ages having a blast there! However, the equipment is dirty, and the foam floor has a lot of stains. We didn't stay too long there. A homeless man approached us at the playground and started speaking with no sense, then he walked behind us and stayed looking at us while whispering. Even my toddler got nervous. We felt unsafe, and I decided to leave immediately. We walked towards my car, buckled my toddler in the carseat... and when I was getting on my seat (driver seat), I saw next to my car a BIG HUMAN DEFECATION wrapped with napkins. No wonder the parking smelled horrible. Honestly, this park has so much potential, but based on how dirty and unsafe it felt, I AM NOT GOING BACK.

To be honest im reluctant to share this review...you may steal me secret paradise! A grand, oval-in-rectangle patterned garden filled with spectacular roses, fragrant citrus, and some small fountains.

To get the most euphoric, engrossing experience come in mid march to experience the citrus Blossoms completely filling the air with their fragrant perfume! Watch the busy bees buzz about the blossoms briskly bustling their bushels of pollen back to the behive!

Come back in mid April to see the garden transform from blossoming citrus to blooming rosebuds that have a deep, intoxicatingly sweet fragrance...the beautiful bees will be back but they will be sure not to bother you while they busily buzz about.

But please dont read this....and please dont come here....i want it all...

First time visiting this park. To say it was very busy would be an understatement. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and there were about 10-15 groups of people taking pictures for weddings, quinceañeras, etc. The park has some nice grounds. Lots of trees and covered walkways provide plenty of shade. There is also a variety of flowers throughout the grounds. The letdown for me was the condition of the grounds. I really wish people didn’t trash public places, especially nice parks like this one. The pavilion area seemed to have been taken over by the local homeless, seeing as there were mattresses, a sofa, and other things under the structure. All in all, I’d say it’s a nice park but there are definitely better spots to take pictures...
