Tucked inside 1802 Roasters, Saint Raf Bagels is the kind of quiet brilliance that doesnât need to shout to get noticed. These bagels are the real dealâhand-rolled, properly boiled, and baked to a golden finish that crackles just right when you tear into it. The texture lands perfectly between chewy and tender, with a flavor that says someone here deeply respects the craft.
Whether you go classic (salt, sesame, or plain with whipped cream cheese) or venture into their seasonal builds, everything is done with care and intention. The quality of the ingredients showsâbut itâs not fussy. Just really, really good bagels made the right way.
The fact that itâs inside 1802 Roasters makes the experience that much better. Grab a Saint Raf bagel, pair it with a cup of their âCodeâ roast, and youâve got a breakfast (or lunch, or late morning second breakfast) that feels casually elevated.
Saint Raf isnât trying to do a million thingsâitâs just doing one thing with near perfection. And in a city that tries hard to be everything at once, that kind of focus...

We usually go to NY Bagels in West Los Angeles which weâve never had issues with burnt or...

I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and a small coffee. Both were served somewhat cold, which I later realized is just how they serve them here. Everywhere else Iâve been, they toast the bagel automatically without needing to ask, but that wasnât the case at this location. The coffee was just okay. Overall, the experience wasn't what I...
