Just tried Taqueria Frontera. I can best describe it as a Taco Bar, your food is made in front of you, the smell of smokey flavors in the air reminds of Tacos in Mexico. I ordered two Tacos Al Pastor,Two Tacos de Asada, and un Burrito de Asada. Al Pastor was good, meat was doradita but not dry, comes with onion, cilantro, and a creamy avocado sauce, on hand made tortilla. 💣. The Asada meat was tender and flavorful, onion, cilantro, and Guacamole. Very good too. Do yourself a flavor and go enjoy some Tacos here. Great service, and environment, in a good location. Not too much parking, but you'll find something around. Thank you Taqueria Frontera. Will be back

Incredible taco experience! Order inside and then grab a seat on the sidewalk bar and watch the show. The smell of delicious food washes over you from the big windows. Try not to start drooling 🤤 Service was very quick, and the tacos were so fresh. I really enjoyed their corn tortillas on their traditional tacos. We tried the pastor and wished we were hungry for more! They had homemade frescas and we got an horchata which was perfectly creamy and sweet. Definitely try their hot sauce if you like heat, it packs a punch. Will definitely be stopping by for another bite anytime I’m on the east side.

Got an asada burrito, taco de pastor, lengua (beef tongue), asada and taco de chorizo with a torta de asada and an agua de sandía (watermelon water). The best thing from what I got was the pastor taco, the meat was crispy and very flavorful. I was disappointed in the torta as it does not come with lettuce/tomato and it’s just meat, beans, guacamole salsa and onion with cilantro, the torta was not special. The burrito tasted like every other burrito so it was okay in flavor. The sauces were good but overall was not a delicious dinner. The place was packed so get ready to wait 1- 1/2hrs for your food.

More Tacos, No Borders! Taqueria Frontera is hands down the place to be every day if you’re craving authentic Mexican flavor. Full disclosure: I know the owner personally, but that only makes me more invested in giving you the real deal—because trust me, this foodie doesn’t play when it comes to tacos.

Dios mío, the flavors at this taqueria will have you feeling like you’re in the heart of Tijuana. As someone who travels the world, I’ve eaten at countless places, but this spot hits differently. With dual citizenship and yearly trips to Mexico, I’ve visited taquerias all over the country, and Taqueria Frontera genuinely captures that authentic taste.

The handmade tortillas are fresh off the press, and the tacos? Perfectly greasy in all the best ways. The guacamole is thick and rich, and the salsas pack that extra grasa you can’t fake. Even the simplest things—the rábanos, onions, and cilantro—taste just like they were picked from a market in Mexico.

If you haven’t been yet, this is a must-try. You’ll be craving these tacos weekly, no doubt. Let’s give Taqueria Frontera the recognition it deserves—it’s the real Mexico, auténtico to the core. Ambiance is small order line but plenty of sitting or standing like in Mexico outside. The service is fast and quick, you see the taqueros...

My wife saw this place on TicTok and decided to drive out and give them a shot, glad we did cuz the food was really good. We tried the Al Pastor tacos the meat had good flavor and I give bonus points for adding pineapple the salsa is a bit spicy so if you don’t like heat maybe order it on the side my wife tried the lengua which she said was good. We tried the frijoles en vaso(beans in a jar) which is basically frijoles de la olla the beans come with cheese onion cilantro and your choice of meet we did asada which was good but next time I’d like to try them with chorizo. The beans were legit. Also tried an asada torta which was not bad. My first thought was a bit small and the the bread wasn’t as toasted as I was used to, but as I ate it I really enjoyed how buttery soft the bread was the ratio of the meat beans and guac was spot on I was able to finish my torta without the bread disintegrating and the torta falling apart. For $10 bucks it’s not the best torta I’ve had but it was solid. Overall the food here is delicious you can tell everything is handmade, service was good and the workers were friendly. If your in that area...

Taqueria Frontera is an absolute gem and a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican food in Los Angeles! The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and the irresistible aroma of freshly prepared dishes.

Their tacos are next-level—packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and served with a vibrant and delicious salsa. The al pastor is a standout, with tender, juicy meat and just the right balance of spices. The carne asada and birria are equally fantastic, each bite bursting with authenticity.

Beyond the food, the service here is exceptional. The staff is always friendly, fast, and eager to ensure you have the best experience possible. The prices are reasonable for the generous portions, making it a great spot for a casual meal or a food adventure with friends.

Taqueria Frontera truly captures the heart of traditional Mexican cuisine, and it’s no surprise it’s a favorite among locals in...
