Unfortunately the food was not good this time, it's always a hit n miss with this restaurant. The beef empanadas had hardly any beef, it was mostly potatoes, and over fried. I ordered the Arroz con Pollo, and the only thing that had any taste were the carrots. My aunt ordered Milanesa and it was over fried. The sobrebarriga my friend's mother ordered, also was tasteless. My friend ordered a Bandeja Paisa, and the steak was a very overcooked as well. My cousin ordered pork, and again the meat was overcooked.

We were credited 2 dishes out of 5, the waiter was too busy to check on us so we didn't complain about the food until they brought the bill, I bring this up, because the waiter questioned us as to why we didn't say anything when the food was brought...to which I responded, we would've if any of the waiters would've returned to ask how our food was as its customary.

My Colombian friend insisted their food is BETTER than Peruvian food, which is a bold claim to make to a Peruvian, so I had to put it to the test. I want to be clear that I don't think it was the restaurant's fault, and maybe it's just the cuisine itself, but I personally found the flavors to be quite dull. I'll have to try another restaurant just to be sure if that's a fair assessment.

To be specific, my meal was the Bandeja Paisa, an empanada, a buñuelo, and a guava pastry, and I made sure to have them with both the Salsa Criolla and the ají sauce.
