Sometimes I wonder how some places make it big and I don’t see advertisements for these places. Then there’s some places that look quiet but are so freaking good and I don’t see lines out the door. I could say that for this place. It’s humble and the people working there are down to earth. The pizza is good and pulled pork fries are to die for. Let me start with the pizza. The crust is crunchy. The pepperoni is good, it’s the small cup pepperoni with large pepperoni round slices. The right amount of cheese and the makes itself known without masking other ingredients. The one thing I did not see was soda machine. The nostalgia stopped there but liking Mexican food they had something not expected. MEXICAN COCA COLA. Now for those of you who don’t know aka been living under a rock. Mexican Coca Cola uses real sugar. Not that high fructose not even for pancake syrup. Yes I know sugar is not any better but you tell your taste buds that they know the difference. So when you bite that crunchy pepperoni pizza and take a swig out of Mexican Coca Cola your taste bud are in for a ride. The coke made cane sugar is not there ingredients but smartly paired up with the pizza. They do have other flavors like orange fanta, sprite, and I think that’s it. So it makes up for not having a fountain. Now for the fries. They are a knock out. The fries are crunchy even with stuff drizzled on it and pulled pork on it. Let me tell you I took the pickiest eater on the planet. She never tasted something so good. Let me tell you this much we finished the fries and took home the pizza with two slices missing. But not to knock the pizza it just that we haven’t tried fries like that before. The last but not least. The crème brûlée is of the hook. Brian the kitchen manager made one of them and brought to the table and it was like I was eating at some fine dining place. Everything was made from scratch. I can count the thing that we’re not made from them. The pepperoni the cheese the sauces that went on the fries. Well at least I think. And the pulled pork and of course the fries. I say the pulled pork because i am sure they don’t have a pig pen in the back. But I am sure they prepared it. I say that because some people get techinical. Like what type of feed do they use? For the rest of us. Who cares? Make me happy like a fat boy. Show them some love. Expose them for their great food. They need to be put on the map. They don’t serve beer but next door is a place that...

However, I can't rave enough about the pizza.
For the holidays, starting shortly after Thanksgiving, a friend and I have been having the occasional "PizzaMark Wine Tasting" night where we order pizza, drink French wine so we can pretend we have class, and play Hallmark Christmas movies in the background because what goes better with pizza than CHEESY movies. ba dum tsh
The goal was to try a new pizza place each weekend. We had previously tried two other places (one of which we thought was a keeper) before we tripped upon Osborne Pizza Kitchen. The offerings on the menu at Osborne were intriguing so we decided to give it a whirl.
It became our go-to pizza place after the first bite. There's no turning back for us now. We're hooked!
My friend's go-to pizza is always pepperoni so she orders the Mega Pep. I snagged a bite of one of the little char pepperoni that was sitting enticingly on top of another pepperoni and it was delish.
So far, I have tried the super the Super Mushroom, the Margherita, and the Formaggio.
Recently we decided to expand our horizons a bit and got wild and ordered their house ranch sauce to try with our pizzas. Neither of us are big "dippers" so we figured we'd give it a taste just to say we tried it and that would be that.
The next thing we knew, both of us were ripping off pieces of pizza crust to scrape along the inside of the ranch containers to get every last drop of the sauce. I'm glad we weren't out in public because it was rather gluttonous of us but it was SO GOOD!!! I'm pretty sure this stuff is good enough to drink. I gotta say that we're now dying to test out the beer cheese and house marinara.
We have one final PizzaMark Wine Tasting night coming up this Saturday and I've decided to branch out and will be ordering either the Meatball Focaccia or the Chicken Parm Focaccia. Or maybe both! My friend will of course get the Mega Pep because her head might explode if she tried something else. I guarantee we will be ordering some dipping sauce of some kind to go along with our eats, though.
Ok, Osborne, you have been given a heads-up. Fire up them ovens! We'll be ordering...
Read moreI’m so bummed, I was excited to try a new local pizza spot and the high reviews sounded promising. But the pizza and sandwich left a lot to be desired. We ordered pick up and when we got home and opened the pizza box, my husband and I both said it looked like school lunch pizza. We were hopeful the taste would be better than the look but it was bland and tasted like frozen pizza. It was over sauced, under cheesed, under pepperonied. I wish I could say anything good about the chicken parm sandwich but the chicken was super thick, seemed pre cooked or frozen, and was rubbery. I took one bite and couldn’t eat the rest. I really am so bummed, I had really high hopes. Hoping this was just a really off night for them.
Edit: deleted my note about it being empty. I appreciate your kind response and I wish you all the most success! I will always root for local...
