The last time my mom had a delicious bee sting (Bienenstich) cake was in 1979 when she was studying medicine in West Germany. For her birthday this year, I wanted to surprise her with that cake but I didn’t want to make it myself lol. After calling so many bakeries, I finally found the one and only Schatzi’s bakery. It is the only bakery in LA that specializes in German cakes. They were more than happy to bake one for my mom (they also added the cute chocolate decorations) and my god ! this is probably the most delicious cake I have ever tasted ! Not too creamy and not dry at all even after placing it in the fridge for a few hours . Perfect balance of pure heaven moistness and buttery pudding aftertaste ❤️ 🎂 my brother and I fell in love with this cake. As for my mom, it brought back years of beautiful nostalgia. We are forever thankful for this bakery that created not just a scrumptious cake that has fulfilled our hearts and stomach but a wonderful core memory that will forever be with us...

Running a business is not always easy and with some customers it's no walk in the park. Given some of the subterranean reviews, I can only recommend opening a store yourself. I can't say anything negative about the staff at the time or the range on offer. I liked everything. I particularly liked ARNIE. If you're looking for some peace and quiet, a delicious breakfast or a coffee in LA in a Mediterranean atmosphere, this is the place for you.
