I got the pleasure of working with Sorry Not Sorry, all of their employees and owner and I wanna start by commending their attention to detail, friendliness, support, and generosity in that experience. Their response time was quick and they helped me work within my clients budget to give them the best event. I was able to offer a 50% party very quick booking turnaround time and the fun experience of my business in their beautiful back patio. I run an art business and offer paint and sips in the area, often working with LA restaurants, and I am so fortunate to now know the sweet owner, Kim. She is welcoming of everyone and from what I hear from her employees is a thoughtful and attentive owner. It’s clear how high the standard of cleanliness presentation, taste and vibe is to her. It’s definitely exemplified in the staff she chooses to work with and their easy-going, kind and helpful attitudes. It was such a great business to work with, and I’m so excited that we laid out plans to be able to work together more in the future! So for all the event planners and businesses like mine definitely reach out and you will not be disappointed!
Speaking about the food, let me just say I didn’t know mole could be so perfect, and on their handmade and flavorful tortilla chips, I actually gasped. They have so many amazing vegan and vegetarian and pescatarian friendly options! I also tried their burger and their garlic fries with the molé nachos and it was like an explosion of the best flavors And sauces. The burger with thick juicy, and a hearty meal. the garlic fries were perfectly cooked and the use of garlic was spot on! there’s nothing fake or processed about this place everything from their lemonade to their cocktails to the food that they serve. Literally everyone should come here. They have great food great service, great cocktails, and great events. I can’t speak of them highly enough and my clients were so happy with their experience most of the group stayed for hours to enjoy their perfectly priced happy hour menu after the event!
And for those of you who are extra picky, their kitchen is actually spotless and this is coming from a girl who worked in the service industry for five years at a place that offers a similar menu. Their staff back there is so sweet and helpful and the cleanliness was actually jaw dropping.
They have a beautiful front patio and a super stylish inside lounge area. They also have a lounge area in the back patio with at least 20 picnic tables. I mean it’s huge and can accommodate a party of any size. I’m so grateful to be able to talk about this experience I definitely encourage everyone to come here at any time. They have some great specials and it’s perfect for a hang out with friends, a date night or if you’re just going out...
Read moreThis place is quite nice, but the sommelier and business owner Kim Vu has not communicated with me about our agreement since November 16th, 2020.
I cohosted an event with her in late October in partnership with my business, Women of So Cal.
It started out as a co-hosted event where I would invite women to the event and host a panel. Then eventually, the event was collaboratively reduced to my business receiving a "marketing fee" of $10 for each woman that paid a ticket.
I have yet to receive a check and have reached several times via email and also called Kim - with no response.
I am patient and understanding and I get that it’s been a tough year with C*VID - especially during the holidays. Nevertheless, I have a business and livelihood to maintain as well.
I am reaching out on principle. It's not just about the money, but about the lack of communication. My friends purchased food and we were given half-off gift certificates and all planned to return.
After this experience, I would caution any new business looking to partner to reconsider and/or stay strong in your convictions.
I am hoping everything is well and have reached out to get a response to no avail. This is my last resort and I am looking forward to a response from the business owner.
Truly hoping all is well and looking forward to...
Read moreThis is a long overdue review! I recently hosted my birthday party at Sorry Not Sorry in April for 40 of my friends. After weeks of visiting Peerspaces that didn't quite suite my vision, my husband and I stumbled upon a listing for SNS and reached out. The next day, we had a virtual call with the owner, Kim, and her assistant, Rowena, and we immediately felt relieved and excited for my event. That's because Kim and Rowena took the reins from there and made the rest of planning so so easy. From the catering to the drink menu to karaoke - they really accounted for every detail and were very communicative throughout the process and weeks leading up. I also really appreciated how they provided several options to work within my budget.
We opted for the semi-private option which gave my party exclusive use of the bar area and front patio while the back patio was open for another party. It was a very comfortable arrangement for a party my size and we were able to bring our own decorations. My guests loved the cocktails and finger foods and the karaoke was a total hit.
My party was a total success with the help of Kim and Rowena and the rest of the SNS crew for which I can't thank...
