Subway is big business. I have, elsewhere on Google Maps, explained why that is often a bad thing. But I had a good sandwich there and have mellowed somewhat. Sleep on it, I say.
So first, to all of you Subway lovers, let me apologize. I have no business judging them. Let those who want a fresh sandwich be the judge. One of the great things about capitalism is that those who try the hardest do the best.
Subway has achieved its status in the business world because it's a really good meal.
A funny thing happens with the passage of time. The faster that people eat them, the fresher they become. Your purchases somehow increase their value. In some parts of this country, even in fresh food deserts, Subway delivers a fresh and wholesome sandwich.
They make it right in front of you. As you slide right, you can call out, "Extra tomatoes!" or "Hold the onions!". Isn't that what makes America great? Yes....
