Had a very bad experience in their store on Santa Monica. Came in with my husband a couple of days ago, and, the two women did not even acknowledge our presence. They just ignored us and continued to discuss something about their cash register. This went on for a few minutes! I asked them whether one of their products were fresh! The light haired woman barely answered that it was two days old. The attitude was rude, absolutely no customer service, they forgot to include something we bought. We only noticed this when we got home. I called the owner at the Magnolia store and asked her to check if we got charged for the items they forgot to put in the grocery bag. She called them and they said they did not. Then, I noticed a charge for approximately 10.29. Noticed that one of the small plastic containers had no price on it at all. It was a rice dish which is not worth that amount. The owner said she would refund me. Today I looked at my bank statement and the charge is still there. Rude, dishonest, stale food, some items not priced, so they can charge whatever they want. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE ON SANTA MONICA...
Read moreOdessa grocery is in the heart of Valley village on the corner of Laurel canyon and magnolia tucked away in the corner of the Northeast shopping Center. This was my first time here. I walked in and was greeted by the girl at the cashier, she was very nice and pleasant. I went straight to the back where all the ready-made food was, and there was a lot of it. They have a huge selection of ready-made Russian food. I must have got 15 different things to take home and try. The girl behind the counter helping me was great. I asked her a million questions and she gave me a million answers including really good suggestions. This place has a huge selection of meats and fish as well. The place is very small and kind of tight to maneuver if someone else is walking in the aisle. This will not deter me from coming back though. The food here is absolutely delicious and they have a huge variety of Russian stuff you can't find in other grocery stores. They have a pretty decent sized parking lot, so parking is pretty easy to find. I will be...

Owners of the store avoiding display price per pound for weight-needed food- so customer get confused and disoriented when buying expensive items. Some pre-packed items have stickered price, but threre another trick. I pick several items to pay- one of the item stickered $2.99. But when cashier scan- cashier monitor display $4.49. So, stickers could be misleaded to allure you to buy. Price on stickers don't corelate with barcoded price on same item. Cashier scan barcode - and without noticed store will charge you higher price! You have to pay a lots of attention in this store- they practicing predatory...
