Subway — Restaurant in Los Angeles

It is unacceptable, disgusting and unsanitary to make a sandwich with lettuce that has just been touched by a roach. My husband noticed that while the woman was making one of the subs and was about to put the vegetables on it, a roach walked over the lettuce. And the woman making the sub (AKA "THE MANAGER") thought he didn't see it. But he most certainly did and saw that she saw it too, making a face like oh! So he requested a new sub after she still put that dirty lettuce on it! nobody wants to eat anything that a roach just touched. The woman refused to make a new sub. She stated that the sub was clean and that the lettuce was OK like nothing happened, and he asked her to please make another sandwich, and she refused. To me, and to anybody, I believe that is very unprofessional and disgusting, and very offputting to know that even though a bug walks all over your food, there's subway refused to correct a that situation 1 star is even too...

Jay Pal is one of the most respectful attentive people I've ever met. Subway is actually beneath him, but everyone has to start somewhere. As a sandwich artist, he is the best I've ever seen.
