Tacos Michoacan (I know, it's such an original name) is a small Mexican restaurant in Mission Hills. The interior is clean and bright, with a handful of paintings. The owner is a pleasant lady, very friendly and helpful. As for the menu, it is standard: tacos, burritos, enchiladas, tortas, as well as breakfast. The downside is the food. The asada is crumbly and nubbly and too well done. It has a certain oiliness to the taste and not much seasoning. The asada burrito contains the usual suspects: meat, rice, beans, onion and cilantro. However, the beans used are white pinto, which give the burrito a soft, pasty, kind of mashed texture that doesn't help the issues with the meat. I ordered some fries and as I started eating them it started to hurt my stomach really bad that I had to run to the food 4 less bathroom . When I came back I barely ate the food and told the guy and girl in Spanish if I can exchange it and they started arguing with me about how they can’t do anything and that it’s my fault for not saying no chile .
