Tacos Tamix Truck #3 — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Solid taco joint with seating. I ordered 3 tacos. $2 each but if you get trips or lengua it’s $2.50. Street sized tortilla so it’s a little smaller, but they don’t skimp too badly on meat.

Al Pastor - really good. Cut straight off the trompo into the tortilla. The chef also slices off a couple sivers of sweet pineapple that he catches into the taco with his other hand.

Cabeza- cut into cubes. Maybe 4 more fatty chunks mixed in which melt in your mouth. Very tasty. I’d get it again.

Buche - generous amounts. It has a mild flavor since it doesn’t seem to be marinated much. However it is very tender and clean-tasting.

One of the best Al Pastor, it's very good but I gave them 3 Stars cause they try to over charge people or not give people their change if people don't notice 4x they overcharged me. 3 with a middle age lady with glasses and 1x a male. The male gave me my right change after I asked but the lady got very defensive 1x. I was there when a male told the lady she didn't give his change and she told him yes she did and he said he was ripped off for $6. When you go here keep track of your money and how much. They will try and charge you $12 for a burrito when it's $9, they crossed out the $9 but have $12 w/all meat Burrito....

The al pastor is amazing.... But this place made me sick.

I was tossing and turning for hours in bed, gave me one of the worst cases of indigestion I've ever had in my life. Wound up in the emergency room.

I think they undercooked the masa that they use for the mulitas? I'm not sure. My friend had a burrito and he was fine, I had the mulita.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid the risk of getting sick. I won't be returning, but if you are brave enough, please skip the masa they prepare themselves, believe me, the pain was...
