Taqueria Vista Hermosa — Restaurant in Los Angeles

We are very grateful for Taqueria Vista Hermosa! They were on an exclusive list of caterers available for my venue and had a selection of REAL Mexican food that we were looking for. We were invited for a taste test to see what we liked on the menu and to make our selections. All of their food is delicious! It was hard to narrow down to a few select choices. They were easy to communicate with when he had questions, had to up our guest count, and when we were struggling with our table set up. Don Raul has been a true support and made us feel confident that everything will be done well for the wedding day! Working with Judith for the bar was also very easy and she had a comprehensive list of recommendations that helped us stock the bar appropriately. Wedding guests had RAVE reviews on the food- the beef birria and chicken mole was fantastic. Our late night nachos were being handed out on the dance floor for guests to snack on and continue dancing. Finally- the freshly made churros with chocolate sauce were the STAR of the evening. Maybe because I had it "to go", but the tortilla was a bit on the soft side.. but it wasn't to the point of soggy. I had 2 carne asada and 4 al pastor since other Yelpers were raving so much about the al pastor.. and after my taste test... I do have to agree that the al pastor is the better choice of the two. The carne asada was a bit on the dry side. The al pastor was still flavorful even without the salsa that they provided.

Speaking of salsa, they have two varieties of them - a green and a red.. the green was super mild in terms of spiciness and the red was what I would consider "mild"... there was a third sauce they gave me when I asked for something more spicy and it resembles almost a watered down guacamole.. now that had a good kick to it! Too bad they couldn't bring that kick to...

The food is freaking incredible!!! I was craving some CarneAsada but without the hassle of making it lol and this was PERFECT. Ordered the Asada Plate, Asada Burrito for my son and two alpastor tacos. The plate had literally everythingg i wanted! Carne, cebollitas and a nopal soo good The al pastor was juicy and tasty too & the burrito was demolished in minutes by a happy teenager lol
