I love this restaurant. I frequent other locations as well. The food is some of the best Italian food I've had at that price point. It really can't be beat.
I'm very particular about pasta. My parents come from a culinary background and cook many traditional dishes by the book, so I always fear eating certain dishes in restaurants. I am always afraid I will be disappointed, or that it will be prepared improperly, or that the spices will be modified, and ingredients substituted, until it tastes nothing like it should. I am always pleased here.
The focaccia is delicious. The Caesar salad is one of the best. The bolognese is so perfect, I can't even describe it. The minestrone is hearty and comforting. The tiramisu is splendid (another dish I am consistently disappointed with at other places).

The vegan menu is very different and interesting, with a edamame tofu ravioli, a gnocchi (which very often has eggs in it) and more options.
They also have a good number of options without onion and garlic, and if not, can prepare a fresh sauce. I tried their Brussels sprouts which were really good! And the gnocchi with pomodoro sauce (I think it was freshly made without onion and garlic, just chopped tomatoes but still really well seasoned and flavorful). The gnocchi was really good too!
They have gluten free...
