Dr. Wen is no ordinary acupuncturist. He is so much more. He is truly a DOCTOR and exceptionally knowledgeable in all fields of physical (and mental) health. I was referred to Dr. Wen after a breast cancer diagnosis, as someone who could help me from an eastern medicine perspective alongside my traditional western treatment (chemo, surgery, radiation, etc.) I really wanted to approach/attack this disease from all angles, and upon our first meeting, Dr. Wen explained carefully and at-length to me how we would work to do just that. I left that consultation with more hope and optimism than I had had since feeling the lump in my breast. I don't quite know how to explain it, but Dr. Wen was so reassuring, and so confident in my ability to beat this thing - combined with his warm and downright all-around positive demeanor - that I was immediately put at ease. I began my journey of weekly acupuncture, red light therapy, and Chinese herbs, and I just felt... better. Physically and mentally better. Dr. Wen monitored my bodies response and progress throughout each stage of my regular cancer treatment, adjusting and tailoring therapy and herbs as needed - truly working WITH my western treatment, and not AGAINST it. I have been a patient of Dr. Wen’s for over two years. I was referred to him by my gynecologist during the COVID shutdown. I had several issues going on from interstitial cystitis to anxiety and vagus nerve complications.
