The female "security guard"has been the epitemy of misconduct as well as unprofessionalism. Never once has she worn the required nametag on her uniform. The only time she's pretending to be busy is when she shares her opinions about the irrelevance about B.S.I.S and California Consumer Affairs. The lone ranger security literally believes that she has no need to produce a valid/current California Guard while being paid to perform Static Security. There are plenty of occasions while shes been insulting and taking advantage of indigent individuals including workers who are forced to sell their Government Aid (food stamps) in fear of unlawful retaliation from African American gang members whom this disgrace of a public safety officer uses to extort the workers of the plaza as well as any others who attempt to advocate for those are being extorted and threatened with being reported...

The donuts are fantastic! We had some last, before bed, and I immediately regretted not getting a bottle of milk. We had a sugar, chocolate glaze, and a croissant. Delicious! The chocolate glaze had a perfect sweetness and the dough was fluffy and chewy. Incredible. I had never had a doughnut like this and I eat a lot of them. The sugar covered doughnut was also delicious with their same consistency. The croissant had a nice glaze on it and was very buttery chewiness to it. I can't wait to try the breakfast sandwiches!

Edit: I went back for the strawberry cheese cake pastry and that has the consistency of the croissant with a delicious filling!! 😋😋😋😋I'm addicted!! I can't wait to go...

If you're Black, I recommend steering clear of this place. I usually visit various locations around LA, and I've noticed a pervasive sense of dry racism. On January 29, 2025, at midnight, the lady serving me looked at me with so much hostility. When I asked for a bag, she didn’t want to give me one. Instead, when I pointed to the stack of bags in the corner, she tried to play it off, grabbed one, and tossed it at me. I will never return to Winchell's; it seems like they only want to serve their own kind. I appreciate Hispanic culture, but every time I've gone there, I've felt the undercurrent of racism.
