I placed an order the day before July 4th,2025 from the Florence location. I spent $75 on food to get home and see there were burnt pieces of meat that was turned over because I did look at the food before I left. I live near Torrance, so why go through all of that and drive that distance if food was good? I tried calling but no answer so I returned food about 5 hrs later when I noticed other side. They were very rude the entire time. The short lady with glasses named Pauline from the receipt and the light skinned guy name start with a “C” that was passing out the food. They went back and forth telling me it wasn’t burnt just chard. The guy was holding food over the trash dropping pieces with his fingers without gloves and taking it to the workers that were cooking and preparing the food while they all picked through looking at me while rolling their eyes just as well. A customer asked for the food and they repackaged and sold to him which I couldn’t believe. How disgusting? At that moment, I was so glad I was returning my food because it could have been from someone else’s order as well. Not taking any chances at this point. The taste was old and gave a nasty after taste because it was burnt in my opinion. Customers asked me what was wrong and the cashier was still butting in the conversation to say it wasn’t burnt while rolling her eyes.If the food was good why would they be dropping pieces in the trash? Very deplorable disposition from all of the workers. The worker outside holding closed sign was acting rude trying patronize me on my way out as well. So, your food maybe from a unsatisfied customer home/ car etc for 5 hrs being picked then picked through from the staff without gloves over a trash and sold to you. I will be reporting further not just to the owner because he indeed knows who he hired The entire staff was rude and very unprofessional. I been going to Hillcrest/ Inglewood location for years and never received burnt or even chard food but line was just too long. Believe me the pictures did wonders. 🤮Beware...

The lines are overrated, there's no separate line for pick up orders, the workers move so fast that they are slow, they don't prioritize call in orders from walk in, my food was not hot, and they didn't place the top on my sauce container correctly, so bbq sauce destroyed my car console. (Hehehe) The worker tried to make a joke like I took my own top off the container and it's my fault the sauce wasted. not! Yes I ate one of the long waited cooled ribs I paid for, not to forget I called my order in 20 minutes before I arrived still ended up waiting 40 minutes to get my order, let me also mention that my order had been sitting on the counter so long my nice hot ribs was now cooled. The workers were so busy trying to perfect those long orders that they abandoned my 21.00 call in an order. the cashier was a bit rude and the one older female worker actually checked someone car assuming they were stealing some food that was purchased by the alleged yet the alleged never received her order. Tbh That was about the most ghetto stuff ever Talk about trust issues when the food police come back into the store she yells to the kitchen staff no...she ain't got it lmbo. Did she really just check a customers car? Yes.OMG! even the food officer herself was embarrassed she couldn't stop apologizing to the customer who swiped 80.00 off her card for food she could have cooked home and fed a group of people. The manager owner was in site still he never came out to apologize to the lady for his crew's soft theft accusation. clearly, they rushed orders and gave the lady food away. The gentleman behind the counter was interacting with the older gentleman like he was a regular. When my turn came to the window. The man behind the counter did not even acknowledge me. Didn't say a word & when I got ready to order, he left me to go answer the phone & pick up 2 orders. He then gave the 2 orders out & took the customers receipts & thanked for waiting & coming. He then said to older the gentleman here is your receipt. Which I gave to the customer. The employee then left me again & went back to the phone. I was like, "What the Hell." He finally came to the window & I told him one combo with banana pudding. He just nodded his head & I asked what. He said no banana pie. Wow. I just said the Combo & Cobbler then. He took my order & money & did not give me a receipt. When I asked for it. He said, "I know what you order." He then gave the other guy his order took his receipt & thanked him for coming. When my turn came. He just brought the food & didn't say thank you or thanks for waiting, nothing. I asked for the manager or the owner & he said he was the owner. I then said this is my first time here & I am taken back by your attitude. Before I can finish he gave a dry apology & then gave me a yellow paper with the words Peach Cobbler & Macaroni Salad.
