Yoshinoya Northridge — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I've been to many Yoshinoya's to order food but this location by far has the MOST DISRESPECTFUL COOK. I didn't catch his name. Wishing I did.

As I walked in. The "cook" the only cook that was in started to shake his head when he saw I was holding a coupon. (not sure what was that about but maybe they've had many customers that day with coupons already?? Shouldn't matter.. If they don't like accepting coupons. Then stop mailing them to everyone.) so when I continued with my order the cook looked at the screen to see what I've ordered and started shaking his head once more. My order wasn't even long, just that coupon with two combo bowls, 4pcs wings, 4eggrolls. As I stepped aside to wait for my order.. I noticed new customers walking in and there he is again. Shaking his had with every customer that walks in or shaking his head with every order he makes. By this time.. I just wanted to watch him make all the food orders just in case he starts being careless of how he makes our food. Couldn't really see much but I still stood there. When I finally got my food (I double check because this location had messed up my to go order 2x before) I walked back to the counter and as I walk up.. The cook shakes his head even way more.. Talking in Spanish very upset. How can you do that when you don't know what I'm asking for. All I needed was a little more teriyaki sauce because the chicken you gave me looked too dry.

To be honest if you hate your job that much that you have to shake your head at almost anything.. then why even work there. Your giving the customers an unwanted feeling. Only if I can give 0 stars I would to...

If it was for Me I wouldn't even give this location 18441 Nordoff Blvd Northridge ca,91325 1 star The cashier Here was very very Rude I spend $59.62 Dollars Tonight 04/29/2025 at 8:36 pm I ask the cashier for 8 soy sauce and 25 ginger and 25 chili powder and She Refused to give me wath I ask Her For she Told me that the Manager Tells Her to just Give 4 condiments per meal so I told Her that I Never Have or Had a Problem in other yoshinoya store so she only gave me what ever she wanted too she Didn't even Gave me chili powder like I asked Her Too so I asked her and she Refused To give me anything else and she told me to Go tomorrow if I have a problem and Then She started telling Me Bye Bye See you I felted Like she clicked me out witsh she Did kicked me out I Thin that's very unprofessional And Rude and Very Bad customer service from Her so I asked Her for Her Name and she also Refused to Tell me Her Name of what I know all Employees Have to Have a Name tag with her uniform and she Didn't even have a Name tag on her at All she just Treated me Bad Because I Didn't gave Her a tip Because she even have a cup on the counter that says Tips woow She is acting Rude To who ever she sees that Don't give Her Tips that's very Bad for This yoshinoya Business she is Make your Business look bad kicking customers out so they Don't ever Go back in the Future and that's will be Me that I will Never Never Go Back to this place ever again and I will Tell friends and family for them Not To Go to this Yosinoya this cashier should Get fired for...

Had a coupon for a Combo Bowl and Med Drink for $6.49 I asked for ALL chicken instead of chicken and beef. I was told they'd have to charge me for 2 bowls. I challenged that as I've never had that happen at any other Yoshinoya restaurant. The girl at the counter finally figured out how to input the order into the computer. THAT, was the problem . It wasn't that my request for ALL chicken was not possible, she just didn't know how to put the order into the computer. This was a classic case of taking HER PROBLEM and making it MY PROBLEM.

I finally got my order, but the cook skimped on the chicken. I always get more at Canoga...
