Genesis Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Los Fresnos

Well i bought this platter from this seafood restaurant and wow 10.00 dollars for an appetizer that is so simple and the quantity was ridiculously small. It was the size of my palm of my hand. I remember this fried calamari was around 6.69 ot about 7.00 dollars during pandemic then it went up around 8.00 dollars and now due to inflation is 10.00? Okay? The price is extremely exaggerated and the size of the platter is completely not worth it. I use to come here and purchase sometimes during the week but i rather drive to a town that is about 15 minutes from here that the price is rather cheaper and well served. By the way i use to be a regular so now this has my mind...

First off the reviews is what made me come here! The place is very clean and covid safe! I did have a hair in my food the first time....but im a chef and it happens sometimes. With that being said they were very understanding and quickly remade my order! I was skeptical because of this i will say....but i gave it a chance anyway and I LOVED IT!!! The seasoning on the seafood was delicious and it was fried to perfection! The cocktail sauce was delicious! It was the first time i have eaten cocktail sauce like this and it is now my fav!!! I will be going back to get some more...

It's ok for quick seafood locally the Sopa de Mariscos is good on qty well served but lacks the right spice and touch needs more sabor and the rice well it just din't go well with the soup turned mushy. The fried oysters were not good they were small and mostly batter I was not really satisfied or impressed they were really oily and full of batter.And it's kind of overpriced for what you eat...
