where do i even begin... first is first this was one of the worst places ive ever had. the food is overpriced and you get a really small amount. the salsas have some different smell compared to other taquerias ive visited. not sure if they re-use old salsas or just fill them in with another but i wouldnt recomend it at all. some of their meat have a pretty weired smell as if it wasnt cooked right also the sour cream might be past its expiration date since when i got my quesadilla it had an un-usual flavor to it. i usually never write reviews, but this one is just one i had to do for its horrible service. not to mention the woman cashier gives an attituide and even refused to give me my reciept when i asked for it when i was surprized how expensive the price came overall. id suggest to save your money and do not visit this restaurant. if i could rate No stars i would but only one star so everyone could see this review. do not recommend eating at this...

Weary from my long travels, I was delighted to see this place. I was also pleased to see menudo on the menu and for roughly $7 a bowl. I ordered this and a glass of horchata. When the bowl arrived it was neither small nor big but much smaller than I am accustomed to in a restaurant. When I went up to pay the cashier, I was told my total was over $15 (I expected it to be around $10). I let the waitress/cashier know that the menu showed the menudo was only around $7. She told me that it costed more than the other soups because it takes longer to make it (despite what was printed in the menu). Unfortunately, I left disappointed and...
Read moreThis has been a great treasure. It is not, nor does it pretend to be, a Mexican restaurant for “gringos”. This is the “real deal”. I am a gringo, and I speak Spanish, but I have observed that all who do not, will still find a warm reception. It is a simple, no frills, classy place, with pure authenticity. On frills, if you like stuff really hot, just ask them for the “secret Salsa” with Habanero… they will ask “how did you know?”, and you just answer “I know what the cooks are up to when nobody is watching :-)”… of course, you must ask for this salsa in Spanish. More on frills, Fish tacos, pretty much anything they prepare will be hard to find at a Gringo Mex restaurant. I repeat, this is...
