Visited IHOP Store #3470 (Los Lunas) 1/16/15 for an early dinner. Restaurant had only a few people in it. Several groups of wait staff clustered thru out the restaurant talking. Taken to a table, waiter showed in a few minutes to take our order. Referred to us as "guys"...."how are you guys ?" "what would you guys like to drink ?" " have you guys decided what you want to order?" "do you guys want more time?" Jesus is not much more than High School age, and we are old enough to be his father. Respect is just not here. We finally placed our orders. Eighteen minutes later the food arrived at our table COLD. Apparently, Jesus the waiter took the food back to the kitchen and put in in the microwave. The sandwich was returned to our table dried out. The chicken Parmesan with pasta came out to the table with the pasta COLD and the cheese was NOT MELTED. I went in search of Ruby the Manager. She came to the table and gave an explanation of what "she thought had happened". Ruby apologized for the delay in getting the food and for the condition it came out. She did bring new plates of food to the table for us. This is about the 3rd or 4th time that we experienced this type of service since IHOP opened in Los Lunas. I believe that was...
Read moreGetting a table was no problem, there were only three or four other tables. Getting our order in on the other hand? 10 to 15 minutes before we could even place our order. Then 30 minutes later we noticed they gave our exact order to the people behind us. The older man tried to complain that that wasn't what they ordered by. The waitress said that's okay. You won't pay extra. I heard them grumbling after she left about it wasn't the money, it was about getting what they ordered and one of the others telling him to just eat it because they had already been there too long. About an hour and 10 minutes in, we paid for our iced tea and left. 10, maybe 15 minutes later we were enjoying a wonderful breakfast down the road. I get that they were short staffed and it's impossible getting people off of unemployment and back to work instead of living off my money but the one server that was there just ran around confused and obviously had no clue what she was doing and the manager wasn't a whole lot of help either. Read moreThe crew lead is unfit for the position and appears to be making the jobs of the wait staff harder for them. She lacks professionalism and courtesy. This morning's breakfast experience was a nightmare and not to mention it was for my father's birthday. We waited 2 hours for our food to come out raw and along with that when I voiced to the crew lead the 10% discount off the order was not good enough I was told you knew we had a wait and if you didn't like it then we don't have to go there. I didn't get to but half of the burger to discover that it was raw and my sons' pancakes both orders came out raw in the middle. We were not informed before placing the order that it would take that long for the food to come out nor did we agree to eat raw pancakes and burgers. The waitress was embarrassed by her crew lead's behavior and couldn't stop apologizing I just want to acknowledge the waitstaff for working under such circumstances and still trying to excel when it's apparent that the crew lead is not qualified...
