Service is absolutely terrible and they tend to accuse you when they screw up. We have given this Pizza 9 a chance six times and never again will we give them another chance. We love Pizza 9 but not this location and after our experience here we will not be going to Pizza 9 at all, no matter the location. 2 out of the 6 times we found something in the pizza, blue particles from their sponges they use to clean their pans (was told this by an employee) were baked on the bottom of the pizza and the other time was a strand of black hair. When my Husband talked to the manager the hair looked to be hers and this is what she said. "oh and you ate most of the pizza . That's so weird. I just don't how that happened." We had eaten half of the pizza before we saw the slice with the hair in it. I can't believe this is the response we received! Very unprofessional. We felt like she was trying to blame us for the hair even though the hair was in the dough! I just wish we were smart enough to get a picture of that nasty hairy slice but I wasn't expecting such disrespect from the manager to drive me to even write this review. The black hair experience IS the last straw. The other 4 times they didn't get our order correct and the staff was incredibly rude when we asked for the proper order, once accusing us of not ordering correctly. It's not our fault you aren't doing your job and we have to "complain."...
Read moreSo today my wife brought two small pizzas home from this place. First let me start off by saying my wife and I moved here from Chicago last summer and we knew the biggest thing we would miss about our home town was pizza. Since moving here we had driven past this place hundreds of times and kept pondering if there advertised Chicago pizza was going to live up. Well , let me tell you , it did not . This Tasted like Pizza Hut . There deep dish was a pan pizza and not even close to a Chicago deep dish . There thin crust was burnt and the cheese tasted like chalk. We even gave a small piece to our golden retriever and she refused to eat it. I think that says enough right there . Now I see that there are a lot of positive reviews on here. These must all be from people that have never eaten a true authentic Chicago pizza . If your ready to have Chicago pizza then do your self a favor and go online and order Lou Malnatis and have them deliver a frozen deep dish to your home here in NM . Pop that bad boy in your oven and wham ! You have just had a piece of real heaven . But if your only comparison is Dions , Dominos or Pizza Hut then I guess this may exceed your expectations but please don’t kid yourself into believing that this is...
Read moreBeen eating at this location for a few years and generally have good food and customer service. Tonight (10/11) around 7:15 I called to place an order for delivery and had a question about a Pizza 9 coupon I had received in the mail and wanted to use. The guy that answered the phone spoke as if taking my order was a hassle. When I asked about the coupon he seemed confused and disinterested and told me I would probably need to bring the coupon in if I wanted to use it. I wonder...are these employees trained in phone etiquette and customer service? Are they made aware of corporate coupon mailings? Whoever I was talking to needs to find a job where he doesn't have to interact with people. Whatever...there ARE other pizza joints in town. Adios!
10/14/24 Well here I am again. Tried a phone order today using my debit card to pay. It was declined 3x as an invalid or closed account which is ridiculous. When I suggested to the person on the phone the problem was on his end he gave me a smart ass answer "yeah right" and hung up. Irrespective of the fact I'm a 70 year old man these young pricks you hire need to be schooled in interpersonal skills before ever being allowed to interact...
