This isn’t the second time we have attempted to shop at this store! Trying to support local business instead of going to other stores! Two different employees and both dismissive behavior, which is unacceptable when you are a business owner!!!! If you don’t want black people to shop in your store, just put a sign out! Today’s experience: Walked in no greeting from the lady at the front counter, for my daughter or I! Walked past you at the counter, no can I help you!!! We were already feeling the nasty vibe, but the deal was sealed when the white lady walked in and you immediately perked up with, “how can I help you?”

We will be patient and order wholesale online because you will never receive one cent of my hard earned money!!!

To future/potential consumers, If you don’t feel like your business is wanted...make the right decision and spend it somewhere...

Consumers beware - gift certificates expire.

I never noticed the fine print indicating my $50 gift certificate had an expiration. Mind you, it’s totally from 11/2019 - so it’s been a hot minute since I got it - but a little thing called Covid happened and my baking needs nose dived.

I stumbled upon the gift certificate while prepping for a new order and figured I’d go ask the manager to honor it; after all, they did received $50 and no merchandise was ever exchanged.

No luck. The counter associate asked the owner to consider honoring it and she said no, that “the books were closed”. I think this is poor business practice and it’s annoyed me enough to call it quits altogether. It’s particularly crummy that they wouldn’t meet me half way with an alternative solution or even pretend like they care.

So that’s a wrap for me. I hope the $50 donation they received...

Some of the prices were a bit higher than you can buy online but you can't beat the customer service. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helped me find some items I needed. Then the owner overheard us trying to pick decorations and pans for a wedding cake and she came right out and knew exactly what to do. She helped get all of the pans I needed and helped pick out some items to put on the cake and even stacked up some Styrofoam cake tears and put the decorations on it so we could take pictures and get it approved by the bride! such a...
