I was shopping for beads and findings. I use to go monthly until one afternoon I heard security being summoned over the intercom to the jewelry aisle. Called it out 3 times and then I had 2 different employees fake working shadowing me . I do spend over an hour sometimes 2 hours when I go because of what I do. I make rosaries and recently earrings, key chains,purse clips to my crafting. Again on Saturday 2-26-22 this happened to me again. The reason why I'm so upset is because I spend $1000,s at hobby lobby each years, I decorated an entire room with a stimulus check and the whole check and more was used at this store. I have never stolen a thing in my life nor would I. And instead of just watching surveillance cameras, you and I both know I hadn't stolen, you made me feel like you still believe I could. The short dark haired lady that supervises the check out lane looked at me and my person up and down like I was hiding items on me. I am offended by this woman and her lack of discretion at doing her job. I left the store wanting to call corporate but for the second time I didn't. A few days has passed but I still feel offended and am greatly considering using other outlets for my beads. I loved hobby lobby for all different sections of the store, but I love myself enough to not let this go unspoken anymore. And am willing to not patron this store again. Read moreI was a client of the framing department for 8 years (I do woodworking solid wooden frames they do dry mounting and matting/ foam board), and let them go because of customer service. Anyone that needs framing done go to a local place of business its a few dollars more but don't have to deal with the arrogant employees. Michael specifically and Shon. You will be talked down too and your wants are irrelevant, its whatever Michael will do. Then make a mistake and still expect you to pay for it! Putting out shotty work, dry mounting on bent foam board and pulling out a calculator when everything is a set price just to be difficult. Shon doubled down on creating new policies and prices just for me thats discrimination. The way Michael speaks to customers during consultation he needs another job or customer service classes, I have a 13 year retail experience. By all means Anyone go to Alamo glass they are willing to go above and beyond and no isn't in there vocabulary. Shop small business better quality and attention! I have stopped all money being spent at Hobby Lobby. Never received an apology only from the manager and thats because we go way back as coworkers. Recently i bought my son a sea monkey-esque toy. He was so excited until we got it home and realized that everything was there EXCEPT the sea monkeys!
Then last week I went and bought several items. I buy them and use them when i need them. I have my own online store. Well today i opened up 2 of my bottles of Pearl-ex powder, and one of them was already opened, and was missing 3/4's of it's contents!
I also bought a sheet of stickers, 18 stickers for 1.50, except there wern't 18 stickers, there were only 9, because it also was missing a sheet.
Irritated, i havent had this experience until recently. This place is a nightmare to get to in traffic, so I definitely don't want to have to drive all the way up there to return these things, not over a total of $15!
Get it together hobby lobby. Invest in some sort of surveillance system, or people will start paying the extra money to go to...
