I should have looked at the reviews before I went in, but I had been driving, saw the restaurant, and decided to get something to eat. The food was mediocre, and the lady who took my order was nice, but the waiter had an attitude. I noticed no plastic silverware or napkins in my bag, so I asked for some. The waiter saw me come in and turned around to go to the back. I waited a minute or two to see if she would return, and she didn’t. They might have been busy, so I went back and peeked in to ask if I could get some plastic silverware. The waitress didn’t say anything when I asked, checked a box, and spoke with an attitude that they didn’t have any. I was stunned because I was wondering what all the attitude was for. Then she said again, “We don’t have any.” I just walked out. They overcharge, so make sure if you do decide to go in to ask for an itemized receipt for what you are paying for. They only gave me a receipt with the total until I asked for a detailed receipt with the charges for each item. Again, the food was Medicare and overcharged; I do not recommend it.
Replying to Management:
The issue was never that your restaurant was out of plastic silverware. I have worked in the restaurant industry, so I understand how that can sometimes be. Your server had an unnecessary attitude, and seeing me walk in the door and not acknowledge me when she saw me as well as saying that your out of plastic silverware’s with an attitude was the issue. Instead of addressing that with your employee and admitting that you would talk to your employee about her attitude toward paying customers, you turned the issue into restaurants running out of items sometimes, so what? That is not what you said, but that is what you implied.
As for the meal, yes, your hostess told me that the stake tacos with rice and beans would be $17, and I ordered a side of guacamole and sour cream. The guacamole was $3:45 and served in a 4-ounce side cup. I was also charged $2.00 in the same 4-ounce side cup for the sour cream and taxes.
As for your employee, printing out a receipt with my entire order is correct, but it was after I went back in that I received a new receipt with everything I ordered. As I stated in my previous comment, I only received a receipt for $26.24 when I originally placed my order, not a detailed receipt. I don’t mind paying any price for QUALITY food, but with this experience, along with being ignored, it was simply not worth it. The food was not bad but wasn’t the best, especially with what I was charged.
And the point of receiving feedback is to listen to what is being said and fix it for future customers. Not to plead your case on why your employees acted as they did. I also saw the same response in previous comments. Customers are not always right, and some things can be out of the staff's control, but replying back with snarkiness and unnecessary attitude is not the way to run a successful business regarding...
Read moreVERY DISAPPOINTING... How in the WORLD does this place have 4 stars? My girlfriend and I get there, and the only people that are there are at the bar. There wasn't many people in the restaurant/bar/outside area, but there sure was a LOT of cars in the parking lot (which usually indicates a sign of a good restaurant). Nope. The waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there and was subtly rude. We ordered the nachos and was going to wait to see how it went before ordering entrees. Meanwhile, we were waiting on the nachos and had complimentary chips and dip. The dip was about what all other restaurants have only they also give you complimentary bean dip which was good. Only problem, the waitress never offered any more after we ate it all. Only offered more chips, not dip. The nachos came out. For $10 dollars, you'd think that you'd get sky high nachos like everywhere else, right? Wrong. Literally 8 nachos with bean, ground beef, and cheese on each one. That's it. I could have easily made them at home. Bland. The plates they brought out were dirty. Food still on them with greasy fingerprints on the entire surface of both plates. Just terrible. Low standards... It seemed like a local spot where regulars go and that's it. The waitress didn't like that we only ate nachos and left. You could tell with her rude demeanor. All in all, the food is insanely overpriced, bland, and just an overall bad experience with service. Oh, and almost $4 for domestic beer? That's horrible. There are waaaaay nicer restaurants with cheaper beer. So sad. I really hate having a bad experience going out to eat. What a waste of money for this place. Please, for your sake, go somewhere else. Anywhere. Taco Bell is right next door. The nachos are cheaper and more...
Read more(I’m writing this for my in laws) My in laws decided to try out new food today and went to the restaurant, my father-in-law ordered el molecajete and my mother-in-law ordered a chicken soup. When the food arrived my father in law’s food was wrong (they gave him carne asada instead but he was fine with it) my mother in laws’s food was right but when she glanced at it she noticed that it had weird bubbles on the top (kind of like when soup has been sitting out too long or has gone bad) she went to smell it and it had a sour smell but she just thought that maybe they had put lime/lemon in it so she ignored it and went to taste it. When she tasted it she said it was definitely spoiled so she didn’t eat it. The waitress finally came around and noticed that she hadn’t eaten the soup so she asked if she liked it and my mother in law told her that she didn’t. They didn’t offer to replace or remove it off the bill and my mother in law isn’t one to complain or be picky about food so she didn’t say anything but when they went to pay she did mention that the soup was not good and that it was spoiled but they still charged them the full amount (roughly around $50). My mother in law just wanted to bring to light the big mistake that took place today and hopefully they are more careful because this could have gave someone...
