Colombia Mia Restaurant — Restaurant in Louisiana

Escribo esto hoy, Feb 10 2023 / 12:48 pm. Llegué con mi esposo almorzar hoy, 12:15 pm entramos, y adelante de nosotros entraron 6 personas más (parejas) solo éramos nosotros 8 en el restaurante… nos dieron el menú, esperamos y mientras ellos pedían sus bebidas, se las hicieron, se las llevaron y aún seguíamos esperando… Cuando el mesero dejó las bebidas de los otros pasó por nuestra mesa y mi esposo lo llamó le dijo “chico, quiero ordenar” y el respondió “no puedo tomarle la orden porque tengo que atenderlos a ellos primero” so, me quedé wao, solo nos paramos y nos fuimos.

Quiero decirle solamente que al menos hubieses tomado la orden, venimos de un pueblo cerca a Memphis, Tennessee y pasamos porque no tenemos muchos restaurantes Colombianos en nuestra zona, queríamos cambiar… Pero no recomiendo nada este lugar, no atienden. Si pudiera no darle ni una estrella lo haría.

Actualización: 1:45 pm Almorzamos en un excelente restaurante después de salir de este. Se llama Santa Fe, es Americano y Mexicano a la vez, atienden súper, pueden comer fuera o dentro. Me fui feliz..

Pero decepcionante que la misma gente de uno, latinos, colombianos venezolanos etc, nos damos duro entre nosotros. Me fueras tomado la orden, yo esperaba con gusto. 🫶🏼 mejoren, porque tienen muchas reseñas con el mismo asunto, mala atención y comida lenta. . . I am writing this today, 10 Feb 2023 / 12:48 pm. I arrived with my husband for lunch today, 12:15 pm we walked in, and ahead of us 6 more people came in (couples) there were only the 8 of us in the restaurant...they gave us the menu, we waited and while they ordered their drinks, made them, took them away and we were still waiting....When the waiter left the drinks for the others he walked past our table and my husband called out to him and said "boy, I want to order" and he replied "I can't take your order because I have to serve them first" so, wao, we got up and left.

I just want to tell them that they would have at least taken the order, we came from a town near Memphis, Tennessee and we stopped by because we don't have many Colombian restaurants in our area, we wanted a change.... But I don't recommend this place at all, they don't take care of you. If I could I would not give it even one star.

Update: 1:45 pm We ate at an excellent restaurant after leaving this one. It's called Santa Fe, it's American and Mexican at the same time, they serve super, you can eat outside or inside. I left happy....

But disappointing that the people themselves, Latinos, Colombians, Venezuelans etc, give each other hell. They took my order, I was looking forward to it. 🫶🏼 improve, because they have many reviews with the same theme, bad service...

Took my wife and daughter along with my parents. Dad had the fried fish witch he enjoyed. I had a bandeja paisa it was ok. Mom wasn’t hungry and ordered a arepa. They were around 6 dollars on the menu with only cheese but asked if she can get meat and the waitress said she can. The price was not on the menu.once I paid I was shocked to see that one arepa was $ 18.50 Wich is insane! The only diferencie was they added a few plantains and the meat of course. Service was slow. The waitress very nice. Wife ordered a small pastry no entre my daughter nothing. Gratuity was added Wich I thought was odd since only 3 of us ordered actual platters. Came out to about $110 dollars. I still left extra tip only cause the waitress was very nice. But overall the service was slow and the...

The good reviews are puzzling… I ordered here picked up only to be grossly disappointed.

What I ordered was Bandeja Paisa and every item in this was terrible. Beans had minimal flavor, the two pieces of meat (steak?) were so overcooked that it was ridiculously tough it was difficult to even cut and then pulled with my hands was ridiculous tough (no exaggeration I assure you) the sausage was not good period, the pork was a joke with 99% being fat. Regardless of price, at any price it was terrible. The ONLY item that was of any quality was the two meager pieces of plantain. The driest tasteless food ever. Sorry but someone needs to be HONEST.

I just ditched it it wasn’t even worth the effort to eat it...
