If I could give 0 stars I would. Yesterday evening I ordered a 20 piece family meal and a 2 piece strawberry biscuit via DoorDash, which came out to just under $50 with tip and fees. My wait time was quoted about 15-20 minutes, no big deal. I noticed, however that my order had changed hands 3 times because the store was making the drivers wait. I understand if the store is busy and these drivers have things to do, but waiting almost an hour is ridiculous. I then received a text from my Dasher that the restaurant told them to cancel my order with no explanation as to why. When I called the store, it took me 4 tries to actually get someone to answer; the lady who did answer immediately had an attitude and I politely as possible tried asking her about my order. She claimed the dasher left because they didn't want to wait, but I'm pretty sure it was not true as I just spoke with the dasher. I asked if I could just come pick it up since I've waited this long already and she rudely came back at me with "Um no, you can't come pick it up. It was canceled by DoorDash. You have to reorder." I was so frustrated by the situation and how short and rude this lady was being I just said okay and hung up. These people that Popeyes hires are the absolute worst and cemented my reason for never returning to ANY location, especially this one. If you're too lazy to do your job that you get paid for, find someone, a coworker or manager, who can. I've worked in customer service for almost 10 years and I would NEVER treat any of my customers this way, even on a bad day. Read moreThe thing that the drive through customer consistently deals with here is the having to wait in the street in your vehicle because there is very limited drive through space from the street but you already know that going to this particular location. I arrived to the drive through line and they were slammed, but I noticed that the line was moving briskly even though they were super busy. The greeter taking the drive through orders was very polite and accommodating. When I got to the window, I was greeted with a smile which was refreshing and unexpected due to how busy they were. I was so hungry that i pulled aside in the parking lot and ate my food. The best Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich I've ever eaten! Everything was hot and delicious. When it comes to fast food, you can almost bet that something in your order will be incorrect or you will probably deal with a bad attitude at the window. My experience was so nice that I walked inside and spoke to the manager, a tall young lady with glasses. I explained that l thought they were doing a great job and to keep up the great work as it did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated. Read more,,, once again I come to a location whereas I'm being forced to be a glutton to make a order from The Popeyes establishment. All I want to order is 2 individual spicy chicken tenders, to which the employees and manager suggest I do at the kiosk, which I cannot complete at the kiosk because there is not an option for individual pieces. The manager then touts her experience within the establishment upward of 20 to 30 years, most employers have never heard of the order and don't know that individual pieces can be ordered off of their menu, off of the second page of the order menu.... hmmmph.
Edit: recently I randomly, in person, came into contact with a representative of Popeyes who works on app and kiosk development, he informed me that because of reviews like this give them terrific feedback on issues they have with their business model.
