Copeland's of New Orleans — Restaurant in Louisiana

I have not eaten at this establishment and yet the customer service has been absolutely horrible! Called to reserve the banquet room for a graduation gathering. They took my info and said someone would get back to me. The person also checked to make sure the date I needed would be available & it was on a Tuesday that I called. I emailed twice and still no response. Called them back on a Thursday and now they’re all booked up for the date I need. The manager said that I would need to give them an accurate head count and I couldn’t just yet because of RSVP’s not finalized. I said it would be 30-50. I felt like if I confirmed 50 then they would kick some other group out to make more money with me! I didn’t want that to happen to another group. Took this as a sign NOT to celebrate at this Copelands. Felt I should share in case anyone else may have this problem here, you are not alone. Peace out Copelands! Very unprofessional staff . Upon arriving , no greeting was given, after a few minutes she asked how many and went to seat us . After requesting a booth , she then sat us and just walked away . We waited about 10-15 mins for someone to come to our table , and even then my husband had to call someone over only for them to say someone would be there shortly , with 4 staff members just standing talking up front . When no waters were offered , then finally the bartender came to take our table when by that time we decided to dine else where . Out of all the Copelands I have dined at , this one always seems to leave a bad taste in my mouth . Whether it’s the service or the food. Being a native , I would love to see this establish take true pride in their restaurant and guest . Also, the website states brunch is Saturday and Sunday , yet we were told it is not on Saturday after waiting for the menus to be given to us, so that should probably be updated Disappointed to...

Ordered a Copeland burger for lunch and waited over 20 minutes. The burger looked appetizing with a croissant bun but after one bite I had to send it back. They put an entire onion on the burger and everything was cold. Even the fries. I waited 20 minutes while my friend finished the Alfredo which he said tasted good but was lukewarm at best. Not one did the manager check on us and I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for another burger. I asked for the manager when leaving and she said average ticket times were around 20 minutes so that shouldn't be a surprise and that she was coming to check on us but we were leaving before she had a chance. I don't know when she was planning on talking with us since we spent over an hour there in total. She also said to ask for her when we come back and she will make sure we get better service.
