El Rancho — Restaurant in Louisiana

So after our first Souther Muscle car show win. My beautiful wife and I decided to try this little out of the way Mexican restaurant. As many times as we’ve come to this area for the car shows. We never knew this place was here and it was literally right around the corner from us. The food is amazing. My wife had the fajitas. Served sizzling hot. Generous portions. Authentic Tex-Mex taste. I judge by how good the crunchy tacos are. I mean after all. If you can’t get something as simple as a taco right. You in the wrong business. Not the case here. Some of the best tasting tacos right out the gate. Seasoned just right. With generous amounts of rice and beans. This location checks all the right boxes. If I had to give it any negative at all. Ordered my usual never had a problem in the past (chicken quesadilla) this time , I ordered take out per usual get home and it’s soo greasy it’s done basically turned to dough , at least the texture or raw dough , I ask me cheese and chicken only it’s still had veggies and a massive pile of Sour Cream I wasn’t gunna make a big deal called to let them know I wasn’t happy . They told me to rerun it so I did so the person at desk told me this is how it should be when I went to open it he completely and aggressively snatched and pushed at me to get the plate so I couldn’t open it. He knew it wasn’t right I then showed him the pictures I had taken I was going to have them remake it but after the aggression and poor customer service I couldn’t do it and ask for my money back at first he tried to tell me he couldn’t as I got more assertive with him he then gave me my refund. I ordered a shrimp tostada, a steak fajita quesadilla (hold tomatoes, add mushrooms), and queso with chips and salsa. Everything was fantastic! Generous toppings and the quesadilla was STUFFED and so big I had to use a fork and knife because the filling was pouring out of it. This was the best quesadilla I've ever had. I ate on it twice and it was just as good reheated in the toaster oven. The tostada was great as well as the queso. This is one of the most affordable options if you need to Door Dash something as well, more bang for your buck. I've eaten on this meal three times and still have chips and dips left. I ordered this as a delivery order, but I've been inside the restaurant picking up a Door Dash order to deliver to a customer and can attest that they have great customer service and a very welcoming atmosphere.
