It's too bad that this location is not the same as it was, we dined on Saturday evening and our thoughts of this place unfortunately has to be not to come back. This is the third and last consecutive time we've gotten really bad service. This time by a very young girl that brought us utensils with lipstick, cold food and a cold shoulder to attend to a larger party next to us. We'd have understood if it was busy, she only had that table and ours. I ate with no drink since she didn't come by to even ask for a refill, worst of all she picked up while we were still eating. Not to mention took away my empty cup that I was going to ask for a drink. She brought the check and lifted everything and I mean everything as if to let us know to pay and leave. We asked if her shift was up, but she said no that she was just making sure to be ready for the rush. At our expense I suppose. The food was cold, and had other things we didn't ask for, but since she never bothered to come by and instead go to that other table we weren't able to tell her. It was not such a big deal at the moment and thought to simply put the stuff on the side since it was either hope she passed by or not eat and wait more. Oh but when she dropped off the credit receipt to sign was when we got a grin and thanked us. Yes, now she's there and friendly. We left disappointed with this location since we have one close to our house but we'd frequent this one bc of the very friendly people how clean it was, and the consistent food. What a shame. It's too bad. We didn't even consider doing this, but Google is very persistent, and the more I think about our experience the more I think what a waste of time, not money bc we'll spend it where ever when we eat, but time bc ours... well you het the idea. The last 2 times, weren't so hot either. Is it new management or simply hiring the wrong people? Hope this helps someone. Consistent, just not in the...
Read moreOk, so I had the IHOP Thanksgiving meal a few years back at another location in New Orleans on S Carrollton and it was horrible back then.
So tonight, not many places open at 8:30 PM being Thanksgiving so I decided to try this location thinking maybe I just had a bad experience a few years ago. Yea the food tasted the same, horrible. After looking at the plate I should have got up and walked out but I was hungry and didn’t eat all day. The food definitely tasted like it wa just warmed up in a microwave and brought out to me. The turkey was very dry, and literally had no flavor whatsoever and it is served like all crumble up broken down pieces it’s not even like in slices or anything definitely looked bad and unpleasant, an unpresentable. Next was the dressing I don’t even know how to describe how awful it was. No flavor, dry and definitely seemed like it was warmed in a microwave also. The gravy looked like water with bunch of lumps in it. The Mac in cheese I think came out of a box and was probably instant mac and cheese made to order. If you are going to offer a Thanksgiving meal at least make it enjoyable especially coming from a restaurant.
I definitely know now that I will never do another IHOP Thanksgiving dinner again at any location after 2 horrible unpleasant experiences, and I definitely would not recommend IHOP thanksgiving meal to anyone.
So if you reading this and wondering, don’t do it just find somewhere else to go unless you want pancakes or breakfast. You will definitely regret it unless you ok with eating horrible nasty food.
Now this is strictly for the Thanksgiving meal. I can’t speak on anything else from...
Read moreFirst of all our whole dining experience took 2 hours for Total of 2 adults and 2 kids. We were the first to arrive at an empty restaurant followed by two other couples several minutes after us. After about 30 minutes of waiting they came back to my table to tell me they were out of what I ordered. Shortly after that the two tables that arrived after us got their meals. After asking to talk to the manager the waiter overheard and told us he would check on our food. After about another 10 minutes all three meals came out except for my daughters. After about another 5 minutes they brought out her macaroni and cheese which was in a bowl and it was still frozen. We asked to speak to the manager again who came back and got the macaroni needless to say we had to send it back to more times before it was finally warm enough for her to eat. Finally it was time for the bill where they say they gave us a discount and we say it's a whole whopping 3 bucks. We decided to go to IHOP since kids eat free however this IHOP told us they did not participate in kids eat free. After requesting to speak to the manager again and I had to hunt down an email and show him that kids eat free from 4 to 10 they gave us our discount and we still kept our senior discount of 3 bucks for the inconvenience of our dining experience. Sorry for the bad review but this was an awful experience next time I'll drive the extra mile for a more pleasant...
